Hi neil ,yes, this is run by your timetable so just stick to it I had almost the same letter then a few days later an offer was sent to me, its just stalling tactics. when their 14 days is up send them the LBA. Mine will be going recorded delivery in the morning. Good luck.

Hi neil as long as you know the full amount when you put in your money claim then as you have started the ball rolling, just continue with your time table and update your schedule when the other statements come in. If they come before you send your LBA then just add aline to it stating that the charges have increased since the last letter due to recieveing new statements, which had new charges on them. Its what you claim on your moneyclaim that cant be changed. so good luck

Hi julie dont worry if not heard from them just stick to your timetable so the LBA should be sent in 4 days time. there is no real pattern to their letter sending they treat each claim differently. we have just recieved an offer for £633 on a £4622 claim so will be accepting it as a partial payment when I send my LBA on the 14th . You seem to know what you are doing so go get them.

Hi all have received an offer off them today £633.00 we find this rather insulting as we are trying to claim back £4622 although this figure will increase on the LBA to nearer £5000. I can`t believe the cheek of these people they have just frozen our account because we are £2200 overdrawn yet they owe us more than double that . it`s their charges that have put us in this situation so will be accepting offer as partial payment but will be sending them LBA and revised schedule of charges on the 14th. They have refunded £137.50 onto the card. will be accepting this as partial payment but will continue with my claim for the rest.

Hi i sent my prelime letter to them on the 29th August asking for £250 back. today recieved a letter saying that they had applied £137.50 onto my account i will be writing to them to except the payment as partial payment but will be continuing with my claim for the rest. So you go get them.

Quick update posted prelime letter on the 29th August today recieved a letter from cardiff quoting " the halifax takes your complaint very seriously and i have passed your concerns on to the manager of the appropriate department for full investigation and their comments" and enclosed was a complaints procedure leaflet. This has totally thrown us not the response we were expecting , has anyone else had this response ? Do we procede as normal ? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi quick qusetion just had last months statement in the post has nearly £500 more in charges but if we add these on to our schdule they will take us over the £5k. What implications does this have on our claim ? we know that the court costs double but do we have to do anything different ? or does the process carry on as b4 ?

Thanks for that micheal they are all done and ready to go. We are claiming back over £1000 in credit card charges from 5 seperate lenders. Done enough reading to last me a life time today and got sore fingers from all that typing

Do we need to send a schedule of charges to our credit card companies? please someone answer tonight want to post them all in the morning. thanks

sat up till the early hours going through old statements and adding the charges. from 01/02/2005 to 28/07/2006 we have had over £4600 in charges applied to our account thats without charges for august and without interest added. it makes you quite sick when you add it all up. so gonna spend today re reading things then will be sending my prelimary letter in the morning. do i have to send a list of the charges incurred now or with the next letter? only gonna ask for the charges to be refunded adding the interest will take us over the £5000 small claims limit. or should we do the interset also ? any advice would be gratefully accepted want to do this right. thanks
