Hi, I've only just discovered this site and I have now decided to try and claim back nearly £1000 in bank charges that the Nationwide have taken from us in the last YEAR!! We had an old account with HSBC that was closed due to us defaulting on the terms and conditions. This was due to their excessive bank charges putting us into a downwards spiral of debt that we couldn't repay. Is it possible to claim these charges back from them too? Any advice gratefully recieved.
