I was just about to reply to you Gary- when the post man came!!! And Guess what??? THEY HAVE MADE ME AN OFFER! PLUS all the bank charges back since i made the claim!!!! So it just goes to show, that if you stick with it, and not back down- you will get there in the end! Took a while but i recieved my court date which is the 13th march! Just one more question! - since my claim was filed in july i got heaps more chargies! can i claim this back- or do i have to start the whole process again? as its a fair bit Thanks vicky

Today i this in the post "General form of judgment or order" it says that; "it is odered that the claimant do file a written request by the 13th dec 2006 in order that the district judge proceeds to give allocation/case management directions failing which the action be struck out" Not sure what this is! and what kind of letter do i have to write- (something alongs the linns of "yes i want to continue with this case" Any help would be great Vic

Court allowed a "stay" on my case they have till the 19th of november to try and settle (well thats what it said in the letter) maybe after this i will get a court date or something. Yet again more waiting grrrrr

Hi Adamski- i got mine last week- I phoned them to tell them i received my aq and also to ask why they wanted an extra month when i've already given them 2 or 3 months. The nice girl who answerd my call said they were waiting to hear from their client to see if they want to settle!!!!!!! Hmmmm, so not holding my breath that anything is gonna happen this month( or next) Have not heard from the courts- so i am waiting for a date! Did they ask for an extra month on your aq? Vicky x

Well Aq with the courts- Ended up to be a nightmare. I decided to go into the courts and hand deliver it. As i went up to the counter and the guy asked me for th £100 cash (plus the extra 2 pounds for photocopying it) i went to get my purse out my bag....and guess what it wasnt there. I stated to panic, walked about 20 mins to get to my car to see if my purse was there and it wasnt....i almost started to cry at this point, but then when walking off found my purse on the floor...I couldnt believe it. As the courts were about to close, i rushed to thte post office and got a postal order which cost about 5 pounds and sent it by recorded mail. As i was in such a fluff about losing my purse that day it wasnt till yestaday i rememberd i have not sent the aq to S&M ......Panic again phoned the courts and they told to me to e-mail them and they should send it on my behalf. So now its the waiting game. Hope the courts send my AQ to them. I need a drink lol Vicky

oh by the way i think its only by chq cash or postal order- they would not take a card payment....BAH

Hi adam- i thought the same - in the end i had to pay by postal order and i made it payable to the county court! i bet this is wrong tho- so im expecting them to write to me and tell me so- i will keep you informed. Vicky

Adam- I thought they might do something like this. I emailed moneyclaim( at northhampton court) with a list of bank charges. I am yet to here from them, but i know someone who did the same thing, and moneyclaim accepted the docs and attached to their claim. Maybe a thought! Im sending my aq tomorrow. thanks reload, adamski ,my claim is a whopping $3700 (grrr cant find pound sign on this computer) It will be even more once i claim back the aq money! It just so happends that i recieved the defence today- seems all standard stuff. I think that they have so many of these claims going through they are bound to miss some. In the long run tho think it takes longer when judgement is requested, as they always ask for a stay......but still hitting that judgement button must feel fantastic. I have a question- when/if i get my money back i intend to pay off my lloyds credit card! so really its like getting money of peter to pay paul.....should i inform them that i will do this- Or should i just keep quiet about it? Wish i could spend the money on nice things, but i just wanna be debt free. Vic x

how many letters have you sent them? Your first one should be the prim letter, you wait 14 days then send the LBA (letter before action ) letter. You will most prob get a responce from them saying a big fat no. Afte you have waiting 14 days (from the day u sent the lba) you need to issue a claim against them. This is done on moneyclaim web site! Also have you sent them a list of charges with the prim and the lba? If you get stuck the read the questions and answers section. Hope this helps....Its confusing the first time round Vic
