  2. Hey guys! Long time i know but things have been a bit fraught in the world of Blue! Anyway, after my 40 day letter i have today (the 40th day as it happens!) received a sash of statements as requested from BoS, however i asked for the past 6 years as advised but i have received atatements from April 2004 up to March 2007!! What do i do now please, help required here folks!!!! Thanks Blue xx
  3. Hi all! Help me out here folks! After an offer from TBOS/Halifax for £301.00 "in full and final settlement" i've yet to be given what i asked for in my initial letter, statements for the past 6 years. That request has been totally ignored. As tempting as it is to take the money and run, i realise that there is a much higher amount at stake here. All the charges from my account were taken despite me being on benifit and despite me asking them not to take 2, sometimes 3 charges each of £39 from benifit of £260 A MONTH!!!! you can see where it spiralled out of control. What is my next move people and who has a copy of the formal letters? thanks A very worried and broke, Blue x:-(
  4. Hi all! I see from here that in Scotland we can only claim as far back as 5 years. Following an offer of £301 (where do they get such a strange amount?) "in full and final settlement" i'd like to ask you guys what i should do next. Is there a letter template for the next stage? Do I start explaining why that offer just isn't good enough? Help! Please! B:eek:
  5. Hello all! Have just received a letter from The Bank of Scotland, offering me £301.00 "in full and final settlement" Said it was as a goodwill gesture!! Aye right! Whats the advice here people? Do i take the money and run or do I fight it out? As you know i'm just starting my own photography business and have no money right now, but the total taken in charges this year alone isn't far of this amount....why? cos they took 3 charges from my account at once from benefit payment which snowballed and meant there was next to nothing left for the next months payments!!! HELP!! Thanks, in advance.....would be greatful for any advice as to what to do next Blue(Cameragirl)

This after the first communication since I sent the initial letter. The letter came from Personal Customer Complaints and basically says they're sorry i'm unhappy with the service provided and that they are keen to deal with my concerns and are currently investigating my complaint regarding the charges debited to my account.I apparantly will receive their full response shortly!
