Thank you so much Antone for replying to me. I want to pay every penny back and I will I get child support from my first husband and intend to use all of that to clear this debt. I have been such a fool and I hope they are easy on me but I am more than willing to co-operate fully, I do not want to live in fear. I cant sleep or eat right now my stomach turns just thinking about the call to them. I am praying for tge best and this forum has been more than helpful with everyone elses experiences. I will update after I have called them.

Hi everyone, I hope I can get some reassurance as I am pretty petrified right now! I was claiming single with my 3 kids and working full time, until March 2013 I left my job and decided to get back with my ex who lives in the states. I never informed them of my change in circumstances. I would always think about calling them and then get scared and back out because I knew I should of told them the minute I left. Well they want my bank statements and p60 for March 2014 so I have no choice but to call them and tell them I didn't even work all last year. So I know I will have to pay back all that money and that is fine. But I am so scared because I am overseas right now and will they look at me differently? I want to call them asap but I have a 7 hr time difference. What will they ask me? I am terrified and starting to think dark thoughts, I have just got back on my feet and the stress is gonna kill me, Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone I am new to this forum, but I also received a Tax Credit Check letter yesterday and I am petrified to call them do I post my situation here? Or do I make a new subject? Thank you in advance
