  1. Thanks for the advise. I have just found out that the director has set up another company with a fairly similar name. He did this in June last year. Am I right in thinking that this could be his escape company, so to speak? If an HCEO visited his premesis how quickly could he close the original company or buy it out with the new company. My head is really spinning now!
  2. Thanks for the replies. I am unsure of the assets of the company. They are a fairly small home improvement company with an anual turnover of around £1m. I know that they lease their vans, however they own the sales peoples cars which there was around 5 of when I was employed by them. They obviously have computers and printers etc. I read somewhere that HCEO's cannot take tools of the trade so does that include vehicles? Unfortunately I don't know the company bank details. Can the HCEO force the company to show bank account statements/balances etc. I am worried that they can hide funds or assets in other bank accounts. I have just heard from their representative who has been instructed to offer payment by installments over 5 months but I just don't trust the company at all.I forgot to mention it also has no ongoing contracts.
  3. Hi all, I took my previous employer to tribunal. I won the case and was awarded quite a large amount of money. However my previous employer appealed but thankfully failed. The company is a limited company and should have paid the award by 25th february. After a lot of correspondence with their representative they have now offered to pay the award in installments because they claim they can't pay in full.I don't trust them at all and would like the payment made in full. I am thinking about getting the award via the fast track system but I'm really worried that this is all going to go wrong and I'll end up with nothing. Does anybody have advise as to what to do? I have represented myself throughout but I'm stuck on this one.
