  1. ok thanks got to go work now, i have a go at doing it later on the night shift if all is quiet. makes you wonder how with an early settlement figure I still paid the full ppi.
  2. HI could some one please have a look at my stat sheet and see if I worked it out right. the loan was for £3000 over 24 months with ppi of £16.87 a month. I paid £165 a month for 15 months and a final payment on month 16 for £1404.81 as a settlement figure. the apr was 17.9% total amount payable was £3952.32 and i paid £3879.81 thanks for your help
  3. ok i get one in the post tomorrow, but what shall i do about reply to there letter as only have about 20 days to reply before case closed.
  4. We sent for it on 17th jan they got it on 21st jan and said we would have information by 2nd march.
  5. We sent questionnaire on 23rd feb got letter back on 1st march saying got eight weeks from date we received your complaint which was 27th feb .Got a reply on 20th march with there reply about the ppi claim post number 4 . we now have 28 days to reply with new information or case closed.
  6. post one shows statement with ppi details on for both of us and cost of said ppi but no actual signed docs to view in sars which we been sent.
  7. We have got our sars back but no copy of ppi forms. What we got is the cancelation form but no original forms which show the ppi policy and our signatures.
  8. unfortunately we binned a lot of stuff when we moved but i go along the lines that we signed where they put the crosses which is true and see what they turn up when they reply to our letter.hopefully they will have a copy or not which could be better.
  9. yes they must had been as the forms were sent to us and we were told to sign where the crosses were and return them asap, as we already found the house we wanted and our offer had been accecpted, it was just the mortgage we needed sorted.
  10. when we filled in the questionnaire we stated that all correspondence were done by post and we never went into the halifax, so is this as good as a closed room as nothing was explained, we were told to sign and return the forms and the mortgage would be approved.
  11. HI just finished writing reply, would it be possible if some one could have a look and let us have there thoughts please. thanks in advance.
