  1. The JSAG says do three things and lists several things to do. I searched the Direct.Gov website at the Jobcentre while waiting to sign on. It says do this one a week I visited job agencies in another town, some of which I am registered with - it says do this once a week I searched the Newspapers - yes it says once a week They imply I did not do enough to seek work though all of these things are on the JSAg. What is your thought? What would be the period of Sanction if they decide against me?
  2. Sorry to start a new thread but the system would not allow me to continue. My JSAG was signed 25 weeks ago and I am on the Work Programme. I saw my SW last Wednesday and they saw what I had done in compliance with their requirements and were satisfied. The gave me a new Action Plan which I agreed and signed. On the following Monday, yesterday, I attended the jobcentre an signed on - they decided I had not done enough to comply with the JSAG and referred me for Sanction. THEY DUD NOT CONTACT OR ASK MY SW. Now it is said the JSAG no longer applied as I was on the Work Programme and that I should do as required by the Work Programme requires. They were satisfied I was doing enough. So can the Jobcentre refer me for sanction WITHOUT contacting the SW? Sanction me in regard to the JSAG anyway? Apologies, but finding the right information on the internet is a problem also speaking to someone who has actual knowledge and not just expressing an opinion as opinions can be wrong but knowledge is everything. Naturally, I am worried.
  3. Finding such a RULE is an impossibility. Many such RULES are hidden away. They exist but only if you are an appalling bookworm. I just thought you might now what it was. Years ago I was snapped by a trafic camera doing 50 in a zone posted as 30. When they asked for payment, I asked for the proof of their permission from the Secretary of State to change the speed limit. They had power to do so for up to 6 months but after that they needed his permission, something I knew. (My specialist knowledge) The zone had been like that for 3 years. Did they take me to Court - If they had I would have won and they would have had to refund Millions in improperly claimed fines.
  4. From your reply it appears to be a YES the JSAG cannot be relied upon as it is out of date and only what I have done as agreed with the Work Programme would be relevant and I am doing as required/agreed with the Work Programme. Are you able to quote to me the relevant RULE please.
  5. Finally found the button for a New Thread. I am having an issue over a Possible JSA Sanction. Now I have read on this site that a JSAG is only valid for 13 weeks and that as I am a Work Programme that it does not apply at all BUT they are seeking to sanction me and for something which is not even on the JSAG as well. If someone can confirm that the JSAG is out of date ( it is 25 weeks old) and cannot be relied upon anyway as I am on the Work Programme, I shall have a good nights sleep especially if they can quote the relevant rules.
  6. Can I ask an additional question on this subject? My JSAG is 25 weeks old and I am on the Work Programme. I have read elsewhere on this site (without the statement being qualified) that a JSAG only lasts 13 weeks and no longer applies when I am on the Work Programme. My JSAG says I need to do 3 things to find work a week. In the last fortnight I ony found one job to apply for directly having applied for others via agencies. They are trying to argue I have not complied with tht JSAG, which is the above is correct is inaplicable anyway.
  7. I read on this site that a Jobseekers Agreement DOES NOT apply once you are on the Work Programme ALSO that the JSAG is only valid for 13 weeks anyway. Mine is dated MAY 2012. Therefore is it at all valid if I am on a Work Programme?
