  1. Yup. Since no details were taken from you there will be no connection to the card holder
  2. The fact that the oyster card has been reported lost by the owner and has infact been blocked is good. TFL will re-issue a new card without hassle if it was registered. If it was not registered, there may be a delay before a new one is issued, as the entire process will have to be initiated again. I work for TFL.
  3. Hello All, Im new to this forum and I need some advice please. I was referred to this forum by a friend after I detailed to him the following story. I live in a newish small block of flats, (4years old) occupied by 28 residents. It is partly privately owned and partly council tenanted. I am a private owner. There has been an ongoing problem with the bins enclosure which is semi contained, as there are gates, but the top of the enclosure is open. We have a problem with foxes, flytipping and indiscriminate parking, as there are only 8 parking spaces allocated, and others park where they can, and unfortunately block the access to the bins area. We have a problem with foxes tearing open refuse bags that have not been placed in the bins for whatever reason...usually lobbed over the wall when access is blocked. On Monday 8th October, the bins enclosure was in a especially disgusting state... The Housing Association (HA) that manages our block was notified and a manager came on Tuesday 9th and took photos. One of the photos showed my name and address on a torn letter, and this was put on a collage of photos that was made and letters were sent to all 28 residents, without any attempt to block out my name and address. I have sent countless emails to the (HA) complaining about the bins, especially about the fact that access to the bins is denied by indiscriminate parking. The only action the HA did was to laminate two notices requesting that there be no parking in front of the gates, and pin them to the gates. That request has not been adhered to. I am of the opinion that the manager at the HA compromised my identity by distributing that letter to all residents. Whilst I agree with the spirit of the letter, no care at all was taken to protect my identity, and I think that I have been named and shamed without any due care or investigation. They have presumed that I am the guilty party without any evidence. I do not fly tip and I feel really strongly about preseving our block and environs in a clean manner. Do I have a legal leg to stand on re breach of Data Protection by the HA? Please help :/
