  1. all interesting stuff and I want to make a claim against eBay, but the online Money Claim form needs a UK address and postcode ? how do people get around this ?
  2. We haven't had turbo failure.........looks like I've got that to look forward to. I believe our engine failure was the big end ? Everyone I spoke to told me that the engines have plastic parts which is why they fail, maybe I'm just daft expecting them to last more than 100K miles when it's been serviced as per manufactures instructions. All leaves a bad taste and I still believe an inherent design fault that they need to address. Hence, why I'm still collecting information on cases with this engine. It's going well so far. I'm also led to believe that the manifold failure is a common problem that is fixed free of charge in France, as it's subject to a legal issue. The hunt goes on and I concur with advice to "Avoid Renault".
  3. Hi You certainly aren't' alone ! I have a 2.2dCi engine that went at 80K after manifold failure at 60K and new gearbox at 63K ! Hence, I'm not happy and collating information on other people in a similar situation. We all need these details to take it further and make Renault pay. Feel free to send your details to us at www 22dci co uk and allow us to make a difference Thanks Jon
