  1. I have informed the CMC that I will not be paying them for something they made a mess of and advised them that I have sought legal advice. I have no faith in FOS and feel the only route is via small claims, I am of the opinion that FT is dragging this out, to be told one thing per phone and then to receive a letter contradicting what I was initially told beggers belief. How do I go about small claims,the amount is over £2500 without interest.
  2. Hi Last October I made claim against FT N Ireland via a claims management company (.......) for PPI. Since then ... have said they received a letter from FT stating that another company was dealing with my complaint. I contacted FT and was told that this was untrue and that ...C was still dealing with my claim. I was advised by FT to rescind and to have no further involvement with .... and to deal directly with FT. I was also told by FT that the claim was 58 days and was nearing compleation. On the 31st January 2013 I received a letter from FT informing me that FT have not as yet responded with my claim/complaint and advised me that due to the high volume of PPI complaints they are unable to respond as quickly as they would like. They then went on to say that they hope to have a final response either before or after at the latest on 1st May 2013. They enclosed a copy of FSA re complaints regarding PPI. what should I do next or what course of action can I take Dessie

  4. I intend to put a claim in against Cap One for unfair charges and interest (there is no PPI) have been through the SAR what is my next course of action. Also how do I deal with the phone calls and also the doorstep caller (I have checked this caller is from CFS) The phone calls are one/two per day and sometimes a text message requesting I contact CFS. The phone calls are starting to cause extrem stress. Dessie

  6. Hi I intend to claim from Cap One in full. I contacted CFS this afternoon and made an offer of £20.00 per mouth this was declined and I was told that I would have to pay min amount of £58.78 per mouth. They refused to negotiate despite the fact I was explaning that I was showing a willingness to pay no matter how small the amount. They then offered to put me in contact with a debt management agency and give me a contact number which I didn't take down. I am continuing to receive phone calls on a daily basies and also letters some of which are quite threatening, I understand they have no power and being from N Ireland I am fully aware that bailiffs are not covered by N Ireland law. To be honest I find these people (CFS) quite unreasonable and very unwilling to accept any form of payment even if you explan that only one member of the household is working. Dessie
  7. Hi Requested an SAR first week in Novenber usual £10 fee enclosed needless to say Cap One did not honour the request and since then have sold the debt to CFS Holdings. Received a phone call from CFS last week re the debt with Cap One I explaned that an SAR was sent to Cap One in November, when the caller heard this he became anxious and started to stammer and really had no answer. Following this telephone conversation the SAR arrived two days later. I have had numerious calls from CFS and also letters the most recent came this morning in the form of a card informing me that someone will be calling on Wednesday between 9am and 9pm also received a phone call from CFS this morning when I explaned about the caller coming on Wed they knew nothing about this. What do I do I have not had an oppourtunity to go through the SAR. HELP. Dessie
