  1. Ok thanks will do. I don't mind paying the debt just these extra charges are redicilous. Hope they get shut down sooner rather than later
  2. Hi guys I've been on here before about there guys. I've had a phonecall from 01224 931013 today, left no message but on google I could that its from a nasty fellow of Toothfairy finance. I'm still getting texts and emails every 5 days or so, amount has gone from 200 to nearly 1200 now lol!! Make me laught when they add a "late payment fee" every few days even though there is no repayment plan in place. Anyway, I emailed them over 8 weeks ago issuing I was making a formal complaint, I never got a reply. And since that email addressno longer goes through. So I have no way of contacting them as there is no way I will talk to them on the phone an every address seems to be fake or to a random place. What should I do now? I want to make a formal complaint to OFT, how do I go about this formally? I have been in contact with them when this 1st started but they didn't really help much. Will they do something now I have issued Marshall Hoare with a formal complaint and they have not responded? I have kept all emails they have sent me.Any help and advice would be appreciated.
  3. Does anyone have an email address that actually goes through to Marshall Hoare and get a response? Many thanks I'm advance
  4. I don't even live at the address that the "debt" is registered to, and don't plan to give my current address until I really have to. I don't mind going to court as I know they won't side with with Marshall Hoares. I just want it over and done with to be honest. Any other email addresses that anyone knows about that actually go through? I plan to keep annoying them every day haha
  5. Hi guys I'm in the same situation with Marshall Hoares regarding a Speedcredit loan. I've been sending daily emails stating I will only pay the loan + 1 months interest, not the 1089 they are asking for. Been sending it to [email protected], which have been going through okay untill today. Now it's come back as failed. Any ideas where I go to from here? Many thanks
  6. Hi guys Been in here before regarding these people, been trying to email them constantly as well as the original loan provider speedcredit. Said I was issuing a formail complaint, and that I was more than willing to pay off the loan which was £200 plus one months interest. But not the £1009 that they are asking for now!!! Finally got a response from Marshall Hoare yesterday, which was: Dear Xxxxxx Please fax us a copy of your income support, any benefits you are receiving, and if you’re not working a letter of termination, JSA and P45 to 0203 137 0794 so we can look into this matter. We DO need these documents before we can set any repayment plan up for you. We cannot freeze your file from correspondence or charges until an amicable offer has been accepted and a repayment plan has been set up. Yours Faithfully Charlie Mason Door Collections Marshall Hoares Bailiffs Telephone: 0843 381 1111 (224) Now am I correct to assume they do not need these documents?? And what advise would any of you give on how to proceed? Still getting emails and texts every 4 says threatening door collection. Many thanks guys
  7. Received this message today via text You REFUSE TO SPEAK to us. Call 08433811111 TODAY or recovery agents will VISIT ALL ADDRESSES and a Bailiff company will pursue this debt. Funny as I thought Marshall Hoare were a bailiff company, so why send another bailiff company out? Really don't like these people :/
  8. Thank you I will use this as a basic letter and add and remove as required, thanks! Which address do I send it to though?
  9. Brilliant thanks. What thread is it? And who should I send that letter to?
  10. Okay. Well I've heard nothing from speedcredit regarding this loan, although I can log in to view how much I now owe £865 yay!! Lol So what would your advise be? Just sit tight, keep complaining and ignore Marshall Hoare?
  11. Okay many thanks Just want to get them off my back really, if speedcredit had got in contact when the loan was first overdue, I wouldn't have had a problem in paying. They seem to have left it deliberately so all these charges can be added. If I send a letter to speedcredit will that have any effect at all? I will deffo be contacting trading standards. What do you think about the text I've received today?
  12. Well I have sent several emails to OFT each time I get a text/email or voicemail from Marshall Hoare, and they have replied saying they are investigating but can't comment on individual cases. Is there anyone in particular I can contact on trading standards? Or just send a complaint to the contact address on their website? Do you have an address I can start sending letters o Marshall Hoare Bailiffs? I am not saying I don't owe the debt, but there is no way I am paying what they are asking. Got this text today too: Your file is INCURRING INTEREST and is harming your credit file. It will be passed to Recovery Agentsif we do not hear from you TODAY. CALL 08433811111. Any merit to this text? Or merely a tactic to try and scare me? They have been saying for weeks now "home visit within 7 days" but haven't had this message before. Many thanks
  13. Hi all, I'm in a bit of a mess. I came into trouble with numerous payday loans, which came to a head in March and thought I had paid them all off. How wrong I was. Since the start of July I have been receiveing text messages and emails and phonecalls from Marshall Hoare Bailiffs. Demanding an unreasonable amount of money. The loan was for Speedcredit, and I never heard a thing from them demanding money untill these fools got involved. Today I got a voicemail from a lady claiming to represent Marshall Hoare, saying I had to contact them urgently or I would get a home visit to collect goods to the value of the debt. I have had 7 text messages since the 30th July which say: Home visit within 7 days.Speed Credit £865 file is now owned by MH Bailiffs.Check email & call 0843381111 to settle your debt & avoid extra charges The amount has gone from £841 to £865. I no longer live at that address as I have relocated and currently unemployed so have no way of paying this amount off. The original loans was for £200. I've had numerous emails which are all the same, just an extension on the text message really. But I received this email today: Loan ref xxxxxxx Dear Miss xxxxxxxx Please explain in detail why the loan was taken if it could not be repaid in full as per the terms and conditions you agreed to? Please note that we would like to come to an amicable arrangement with you but any offer that is too low will lead to your file incurring fees and being passed on to third party Recovery Agents and Solicitors. Your national credit file will also suffer affecting your ability to borrow in the future. Please explain in detail with evidence exactly what has changed in your circumstances since you took the loan. Please note that to freeze the file now and to stop any further action on it you will need to: CLEAR the balance within 4 weeks from today the first payment being made within the next 5 working days. Thus you will owe a frozen balance of COMPLETE Please confirm your commitment to this arrangement and confirm what payments you will be making and when. If you cannot come to an arrangement such as this your file will be passed on to third party Recovery Agents and Solicitors and fees will be incurred. Your Credit file will suffer and you will be pursued independently of ourselves. We look forward to hearing from you today so as to achieve a speedy and cost effective resolution to this matter. If we do not hear from you today your file will be passed on. Yours Faithfully Amanda Castle Door Collections Marshall Hoares Bailiffs Telephone: 0843 381 1111 (127) I'm guessing she is the one who left a voicemail. Now every email, text and phone all I've had have been forwarded to OFT for complaint. They must be getting sick of me now lol. I know they have no right as Bailiffs as they have to be court appointed to demand money on your doorstep. But I'm at a loss at what to do now. I don't seem to be able to find a valid address for this company to make a complaint to them, and also ask for a listing of all the extra charges. The emails I send just bounce back. Has anyone here had any dealings with these guys? What can I do? And do they come to the property? (I'm not there but my parents are) any help or advice would be appreciated. Many thanks
