  1. Well it seems our friends do have a valid licence: Licence Number:0631168 Licence Status:Current Current Applicant / Licensee: Business Name Marshall Hoares Bailiffs Limited Company Registration Number 6871092 Mind you the only registered company related to NDR is "North Debt Recovery", and I've never heard of them! Oh and for info, yes I did send my levy of charges to the OFT.
  2. I just chuckled to myself... I was going to be generous and make a £5 payment online, but their payment page is NOT secure... Do NOT use it !!!!
  3. Thanks, I will do. I've just noticed that if it's how they say, they would have charged 3x£55 before a month had lapsed! It seems they have simply divided the outrageous balance since the date the loan was issued
  4. I received a reply... chuckle... "Thank you for your message. You currently owe £1652. Here is a statement of your account as of 10.9.11. 05.01.11 Issue LOAN ISSUE £300 06.01.11 Charge Interest-1 £54 20.01.11 Charge Interest-2 £54 03.02.11 Charge Interest-3 £54 03.02.11 Late Payment £10 17.02.11 Charge Interest-4 £54 17.02.11 Late Payment £10 03.03.11 Charge Interest-5 £54 03.03.11 Late Payment £10 17.03.11 Charge Interest-6 £54 17.03.11 NDR Recovery Fee £350 31.03.11 Charge Interest-7 £54 14.04.11 Charge Interest-8 £54 28.04.11 Charge Interest-9 £54 12.05.11 Charge Interest-10 £54 26.05.11 Charge Interest-11 £54 09.06.11 Charge Interest-12 £54 23.06.11 Charge Interest-13 £54 07.07.11 Charge Interest-14 £54 21.07.11 Charge Interest-15 £54 04.08.11 Charge Interest-16 £54 18.08.11 Charge Interest-17 £54 01.09.11 Charge Interest-18 £54 However, depending on the amount you offer and the frequency of payments we would be willing to REDUCE the amount you owe. Please confirm by return, how much you will be paying on a monthly/weekly basis, the minimum we will accept is £150 per month and this would be for the full amount. Failure to come to an agreement with us will lead to ground recovery agents being dispatched to all addresses on file and proceedings will commence against you in your local county court. Yours Faithfully" Are they really allowed to charge two or three interest payments per month?? Bear in mind that I was made redundant shortly after I received the loan, unexpected. I have advised that I currently receive £65 per week.
  5. Hi guys. I'm in a similar situation with MHB/TFF/NDR. I find it interesting however that I have been asked to contact Marshall Hoares via email. This is their contact details page: marshallhoare s.com/contact.php "We DO NOT accept emails for security reasons" I have today sent them the following request via their contact page: "Client: ToothFairy Finance Ltd - ToothFairy Pay Day Loan Client Ref: ***** Dear Sirs, I am writing in relation to the quantity and frequency of telephone calls that I have received from your company, which I deem to be personally harassing. I have verbally requested that these stop, but I am still receiving calls and I now require all further correspondence from your company to be made in writing or email only. I am of the view that your continued harassment of me by telephone puts you in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. If you continue to harass me by telephone, you will also be in breach of the Communications Act (2003) s.127 and I will report you to OFCOM, Trading Standards and The Office of Fair Trading, meaning that you will be liable to a substantial fine. Be advised that any further telephone calls from your company may be recorded and used in evidence and I expect this harassment to cease immediately. I would like to take this opportunity to request a full written breakdown of all outstanding amounts, detailing charges applied. Yours faithfully *****" I am receiving up to five "automated" calls per day, and they are simply refusing to stop calling me, even though I have explained that I am unemployed now.
