  1. Had an issue with this company as well in that I've launched a claim in May 2013 and I'm still waiting for a result. Communication has been poor, I've e-mailed the person dealing with my case and a reply in December 2013 stated he was looking in to some data evidence relating to my claim shortly. However, I've phone him this month and he said the data is corrupt and it will have to go to the IT department. Personally I smell a rat, very frustrating and I'm thinking of putting a complaint in to the regulatory body.
  2. Hi These people are absolute parasites. I sent them a letter asking them not to visit my property and asked for a copy of the original signed CCA, a statement of account, proof of who owns the debt and a copy of their complaints proceedure. What did they do? A week later they had the bare faced cheek to write back and tell me I hadn't replied to their first letter with this new letter titled, "Notice Of Visit Without Appointment". I'm sure the OFT would love to get their hands on these idiots. They are a pain and I have written back to them reminding them of their legal obligations and that also I will be gathering evidence against them in readiness for prosecuting them. I have also reminded them that if they show up I will call the Police and have them prosecuted for breaching the protection from harassment act 1997. Anyone else found the letters just go unnoticed? Regards James
  3. I've just had a letter from this Advanced Investigation Services/Clanchatton Birmingham Limited. They are threatening a Home Collection visit, which I am replying by letter to and telling them they can't because I have no wish to make an appointment with them. Furthermore I've checked out their licence and it states they are not licenced to Canvass off trade Premises, which means visiting me at home is on breach of their licence! Oooops, time to report this to the OFT! Victory for the debtors. I'm going to inform AIS about my find and I think they'll soon back away! Regards James
