  1. Thank you for all your help. I spoke to my credit card people online today and they gave me a number to phone on Monday and said they will sort out a refund. I appreciate that £35 isn't a lot but my little boy is autistic and saved it himself and is angry that Activision won't give him his stuff, but won't take money off me to cover it!!
  2. Not so sure charge back would work. I bought the top up from Electronic First online. They provided me with the top up points which were valid when entered on the Playstation. The fault lies with Activision who then took the points and did not supply the goods. They were the third person in the line.
  3. Credit card. I bought the wallet top up online. They provided the points with no problem. They went onto playstation no problem but then Activision failed to supply the COD points. We've asked Playstation but they say Activision is a third party group and they have no responsibility.
  4. I recently bought £30 of Playstation wallet top up points for my son. He is fourteen, higher functioning autistic and had saved up himself to buy these points. He added them to his Playstation account and then purchased COD points from Activision. Activision took the money but didn't supply the COD points. We talked to them online but they refused to give us the points because their computer said they had been supplied to him, despite the fact that they are not showing up anywhere. We have been in touch more than once and they are refusing to help. Does anyone know what we can do?
  5. The man at Gangster Paradise has just emailed me to say that I wil be getting all our money back. Lee I have sent a copy of the emails to you. Thank you everyone who has helped.
  6. Lee provided me with an xl document outlining the calls made and verified that they were to one company. He gave me details of txtnation. They in turn pointed me to Gangster Paradise's website and I must say, they emailed me earlier and are so far being very helpful.
  7. If it is of help to anyone else. All the numbers trace back to a company called txtnation, and they all refer to credits for some online game called Gangster Paradise. My son has no idea what they are. I am wondering if my ten year old autistic son has any idea, but then again he doesn't know how to text. Txtnation have proved unhelpful and so the next step is to tackle Gangster Paradise. Does anyone know what to do after them? I am not so sure they are going to be kind enough to return my £330.
  8. Thank you. This is my reference number #9830056.
  9. Thank you for answering He has a Blackberry. We checked out his phone and can find no texts. He dropped his phone in early July and it's been broken until recently when we purchased a second hand one for him. He has had only intermittent use of it. He is fifteen, I know how it can look with a teen boy but he is very loving and honest. I rely on him to help me with his father and sister and he does so without complaint or thought of himself. He cried more than me when he found out about the bill.
  10. On Thursday the vodafone bill from my husband's and son's account was paid by direct debit from the bank. They have a £15 phones. The bill is usually £33.50. So imagine my shock when £367.55 went out from my account. The website was down online and so I telephoned vodafone and asked for help. The man told me that my son had been sending premium SMS messages he blocked his ability to do that and that was that. We took his phone and checked through it but we can find no indication that he sent these texts nor that he recieved them. He is as puzzled and as upset as us. Finally we got online and discovered that over a 3 day period there were 33 messages to or from the numbers 78878 and 79555 all charged at £8.33 (plus eleven more to the first number for 10p each). My son denies all knowlege of these and indeed many of them seem to have been sent in the middle of the night. We don't know what to do. My husband is ill and my youngest daughter just had a major hip operation and is totally physically dependant on me for all her needs. I really can't afford that amount of money or indeed any more stress.
  11. In June, for some strange reason my husbands benefits were rearranged. He received IB and a small amount of Social Security for me, they were combined into one payment, paid once a fortnight on a Monday. During June they were split apart IB moved to a Friday, IS was paid on a Tuesday for two weeks then stopped altogether. Following this we received a letter saying that our payments would be moved to the account specified by us. At the time we feared some sort of fraud, but on telephoning the DWP we were told it was a standard letter sent out when changes were made. We trusted that everything was right. IB continued but no more IS was paid. Yesterday my husband received a letter from our local council telling us that our council tax payments were being stopped because our Social Security payments ended on June 13th. We were puzzled, no one told us IS was being stopped. On further reading we discovered that the council would now like to know who resides at our address as according to them I have moved out. They were informed of this by the DWP. It is news to us. We have been married for twenty years, we have four lovely children and have lived here with my Dad for the last 16 years in what is my family home. Had I been leaving my husband I very much doubt that my Dad would be impressed if I left our home and all my children behind. I'm not sure what to do about this. Do I have to prove that I have not left home? Why would they say this? Any help and thoughts are greatly appreciated.
