I can understand its down to the defendant. But surely someone/judge gives a verdict. And that verdict must say if a criminal record has been issued? -
HSBC are going to start closing lots of UK branches anyway I read last week. Not so much the worlds local bank anymore.

Seems an interesting point at the end re criminal record - surely the courts advise when they issue the fine and verdict ?
