  3. I have received following letter from sally eames complaints officer at CSL. I write in ref to your recent e-mail. CSL ofers a door step collection service whereby field agents visit a property to discuss repayment of an outstanding amount. This is simply another option to our customers to assist them in repaying their debts. In relation to field visits in subsection 2.12 of OFT guidelines doorstep visits must give adequate notice of the time and date of visit. The armstrong v sheppard (1959) case you quoted is dependant on each individual circumstance and only such order to refuse access can come from a court and not from the individual. Accordingly your outstanding balance is due for repayment, Please forward your offer of repayment as soon as possible to prevent further action occuring on your account. Does sally have her facts correct?
  4. Hi Bubbsie, I e-mailed CSL and P2C with template letter from CAG. Should they visit my home I will also send letter. I sent cca request on 10th jan to CSL but have yet to receive reply. Good luck with your case.
  5. Hi All, As expected cap 1 have written saying your account is no longer being managed by dca who were acting on our behalf. Should I now send cca request to cap 1? Thanks Swanbi.

  10. I sent arden cca letter in regard to a mint loan.They have replied we are unable to provide the information you have requested as this is held by the original loan provider lombard. In order for mint to provide the info they require your written request together with £1 fee to mint. they returned original request and payment. What should I do next? Thanks.
  11. I have received a letter from power 2 contact (same address as csl) saying they have been instructed by their client to visit your address to collect debt. Should i just send them letter refusing them permission to visit my property. Thanks.

  13. Letters say 'our clients'. Is it right to say dca's sometimes work as agents only and have not bought debt.
  14. I sent cca and aid letters to capquest. I am not sure whether they are agents or own debt. Will find out soon enough I imagine.

  20. My credit file is trashed, I had been making payments to DCA (cabot).Unemployed at mo so had to reduce payments DCA were very nasty so came across this site and sent requests to DCA's under cca 1974.
  21. I sent letters by recorded delivery, though they have not signed for them at present.
