Hi guys i had an account that i defaulted on. The default date was registered as 26/03/2008. This was the date that was showing on Noddle .It has now dropped off on Noddle but is showing on Equifax with default date being 10/06/2008. I spoke to Cabot and they said they would update it end of the month but i am applying for a mortgage so waiting for the end of the month is not good for me .Equifax has also raised the issue with Cabot but they have not got back to me. What can i do to make them update it faster.

hi guys i have a default thats was registered on 25/03/2007 and its still appearing on my credit file.I checked this morning with noddle and its still there.How long does it take to fall off.

i will sit tight and maybe after the 26th sent a statute barred letter

hi guys i have a debt that i defaulted on. The default date registered on noodle is 26/03/07 so i guess it will drop off on the 26th. I have not acknowledged the debt for 6yrs. Cap quest have sent me a letter today saying they r giving me 7days or they might take me to court. Should i just ignore it and hope they dont apply to go to court in the 5days left un til it fall off or should i contact them

claimed £1500 from barclays sent them a letter no reply called them and they siad never got the letter sent another one waiting for reply
