  1. Hi, In regards to my claim I have a union helping me, £10,000 is correct as it includes unused holiday. I am claiming on the grounds of discrimination. I was one a full time permanent contract. My role was managerial and I submitted a grievance previously but have not had any disciplinary held against me. Am I able to ask the company to release monies owed to me immediately with my P45 as opposed to waiting for the next payroll?
  2. It’s around £10000, I am already suing them for my treatment and would rather not submit another claim as this whole situation sent me into a depression for months. I was verbally abused by directors in front of others, sworn at on numerous occasions, denied my contractual wage and completely ignored by a few who were not happy about me joining from the day I started and since I lodged a grievance about my treatment, I have have false allegations made against me, lucky for me I can prove that they’re not true. I was just wondering if I could send some sort of email to request that my p45 and outstanding payment is released before the next payroll given the delays that have happened.
  3. Hi, I have been working for a business who made my life hell, it’s ended up in me leaving. I resigned via email a month ago which they ignored, left on my final day and did not receive my final pay which should have been a few days later. They run weekly payroll, I left it two more weeks and still nothing I sent a letter to which they acknowledged. A few days later I received another letter saying that I would be paid in a week and a half meaning that it would be the payroll after next and I won’t receive my p45 until this is done. Is there anything that I can do about this? Thanks
  4. @EmmzziThey have replied sayin it is a wellness meeting and now requested that I also requested that I undergo a medical examination.
  5. @dx100ukHi there, It’s a shame that you feel that I do this “every couple of years” I actually posted in 2011 as I was attacked by a colleague when I was a teenager, I posted maybe last year or a year before for advice for my friend whom I was helping and was scared to seek advice due to working for a too tier company and now I am once again posting for myself (which may I add I thought I would never have yo do again) I understand that it may be similar to my original issue, however if you read it properly the key facts are actually different. Believe it or not I would not be on here to waste anyone’s time, I come on because usually the other forum users are really helpful, this is a site that I would also usually recommend to anyone having any sort of work or debt issues, but thank you for your observation and I am sorry that you feel the way you do.
  6. Hi guys, I have been having problems at work ever since I started and have now been signed off with work related stress and anxiety for a few months due to being verbally abused and humiliated in front of my colleagues on numerous occasions, it is a small company and after submitting a grievance the directors have decided to retaliate by making false accusations. I have submitted a tribunal claim after the company ignored mediation attempts. The person involved now wants to hold a update meeting with me which I am reluctant to do based on the fact that he is the individual who made the accusations, can I refuse to attend? Also can I request a protected conversation to negotiate my exit as I don’t feel safe to go back, if so does anyone have a template for this kind of letter?
  7. Hi, My friend handed in her notice before the outbreak and was due to leave on Friday, however her company shut down on Monday and her new job is on hold due to the circumstances. Would she be able to continue claiming furlough and request that her job is reinstated until this is over? Thanks in advance
  8. Hi Emmzzi, As far as I know she hasn’t submitted a grievance before, she was going to submit one today as she received a letter inviting her to a meeting which is to discuss making her redundant (I thought the process had been completed), however I advised her to hold fire until I came onto the forum as I’m not sure whether it would be a good idea for her to do so before they have completed the redundancy process, She said she has emails which can prove she is being discriminated against.
  9. Hi, My friend was being bullied by a manager who kept saying that anonymous people were complaining about her, she is Asian and the minority where she works, s he raised concerns in her meeting that she felt it had something to do with her race and gets treated differently to the rest of her colleagues due to off the cuff comments previously made and was told by her manager that as a minority she has to prove herself more as a minority in life and thats unfortunately the way it is. Following on from this they’re were more anonymous complaints all revolving around her attitude when speaking to the anonymous individual(s), she then had a meeting with hr initiated by her manager and expressed her concerns, no outcome was given as the hr person said it was informal a week later she has been told that she is being made redundant, my question is there were no specific incidents mentioned and my friend is still confused exactly how this came about but suspects it’s her manager who has taken a disliking to her, is this lawful?
  10. Hi, Thanks for the reply. It was in lieu, I guess I called it failed probation as I was told that I could be dismissed due to being on probation. It was strange as the feedback was really positive but the company said they don’t have enough money coming and and can’t justify keeping my role going, yet they hired a new employee two days prior (in a different role)
  11. Hi All, I wanted to find out if an employee can be dismissed on the spot during probabation because the company is not doing well financially even of their performance is good.
