  1. ozzy many many thanks.....i will await your confirmation before typing up the letter but your advice and help has made me feel so much happier at the thought of never having to encounter those cretins at the romford branch ever again.......i will make a donation to the site as the work you and the other advisers do is priceless....many thanks again!
  2. many thanks ozzy...very reassuring to have this support/advice.....thank you!!
  3. ive asked my local branch(romford) if i could make future payments via standing order/bank transfer and surprise surprise they said i cant do that!!! i obviously wont ever let them set up a dd or credit card payment after their previous missuse of my details so where do i stand legally???.....i cant stand my monthly personal visits to that office as i really feel a'michael douglas/falling down' scenario ....any advice will be greatly received....thanks!!
  4. the romford branch told me they cant accept 'standing order' payments????
  5. ive requested a copy of the re finance agreement from them .....i thought the monthly repayment wouldve included 'interest'....sorry im not very financially bright:mad:
  6. thanks for the advise james......welcome have 'never' sent me any statements volunteerally only whe ive requested one???.....ive requested all correspondence to be in 'writing' but they still phone so each time they are 'charging' me a £10 fee?.....can this be legal???
  7. dont think personal insults help either side...... though 'salary you could only dream of' is rather childish imho.....doubt very much if you will be recieving it exwfs!!
  8. i dont dispute my obligation to pay off my debt with welcome....i just feel they create a situation where the customers feels 'cheated' and demoralised by welcomes business practices!
  9. if welcome didnt participate in so many underhanded and dishonest practices perhaps people wouldnt have so many grieviences with them ex employee......spend your redundency wisely!
  10. thanks ozzy:(......so over twelve months the £1680 i repay them will only in theory be £1320:(.....would it be worth just letting em take me to court so the 'interest/charges' could be stopped??? bit childish i know but thats how i feel!!!
  11. i pay £140 per month when my agreed rate is £136(silly i know)....just recieved updated statement of accounts and am gobsmacked......each month they 'debit my account' with on average £30 for 'capitalisation/hpdi and fee assessments??? meaning in theory im only paying off £100 approx each month off my account......can they legally do this????
  12. just spoke to the romford branch reguarding a 'bank transfer' but they seem very reluctent to accept this payment method?????
  13. they 'refused' my request of a standing order as 'you' control it and not 'them'!!
  14. noooooooooooo never give them cc or debit card details....i did it and low and behold they took an unagreed amount leaving me overdrawn !!!....i wouldnt trust these crooks not to steal from their own mothers!!
  15. thank you for replying james....reading the problems people have with welcome makes my blood boil that they arent more accountable in this country.....im not very computer literate and dont know how to 'post' up my agreements but i did get a rather 'confusing' copy i requested last year but my 'signature' is no where to be seen on it????....i still maintain when i refinanced the loan the total amount on the agreement they sent me was much higher than the quote from the women who did the loan in the local office(romford)....????.....plus can they legally keep phoning my place of work to contact me???....ive sent them the 'phone call harrasment letter' previously as ive wrote to them more than once explaiing i personally visit the office on the last friday or saturday of each month.....yet they still continually phone me!! thanks!
