  1. not been on for a while my dads not to happy that hes lost his mony be cause he signed the loan agreement for me. anyway, fuzzbutt did you ever get a reply from ingrid about the enrollment form not being signed by the salesperson? this seems to be my dads only hope.
  2. how can you contract the coarse when they state no contract exsits if no signature? so according to the t&cs there is no contract to begin with. sounds like fos coming down on the side of the banks again.
  3. why not got nothing to lose. the response from bpf might make interesting reading.
  4. i know what you mean but it says both you and a person who has authority to sign on thier/our behalf no contract exists. the word both means 2 not just 1 signature and our behalf must mean advents. they could of signed in the same box if room to do so, or anywhere on the form if need be. i know it might be a long shot but it could be worth trying this avenue to go down. the part that makes me believe it should have 2 signatures is, form signed by you (student ) and it has been signed by a person who has authority to sign the enrollment form on our (advent) behalf. did advent give us permission to sign the form on thier behalf?
  5. i have said this before and i'am going to say it again. they seem to point out the terms and conditions when it suits them but did your advent salesperson sign the enrollment form as it says in section 2, 2.1 no signature, no contract
  6. were these letters recorded delivery, if not then you did not get them did you. if they send recorded delivery, don't sign for them. see what happens then
  7. quite agree, my dad is the sponser, can't see what difference it makes as hes paid for me to recieve the goods and the company went bust so no goods. how can it be that the person who has paid the money have no say when things go wrong?
  8. it seems to me that bpf have got the fos in thier pockets. my dad can't believe that he has no right under s75. maybe bpf knew this all along so made the advent salesperson get 2 different signatures thinking they would be safe. if that is the case that my dad has no right under s75 because he signed that agreement does this mean that because the advent salesperson did not sign my advent agreement ( states in thier t &c that no contract exists if not signed ) that i have no contract with advent, then why has bpf taken £4750 from my dad? :-x:-x if bpf lawyers are quoting the terms of the contract at us then why is my contract valid when it states no signature no contract? i think there are others out there with advent contracts that have not been signed by the salesperson. maybe we can find out from hausfeld if this another way to go as well.
  9. hi all got a phone call from fos just to tell me that i have no chance to get any money back. she said because my dad signed the loan agreement and i signed the advent agreement that s75 will not apply to my dad and that i will have to try and get my money back from advent. some chance of that i said they have gone bust or didn't you know that. so where does that leave me then, only hope is hausfeld. i too have got the letter stating 14 days, strange that a lot of others got that letter, maybe they give you 14 days then start recruiting again, every 14 days of the year. every year.
  10. mate you work for barclays. why are you trying to make us pay up? thats all you say on hear. pay this pay that why are you so concerned that people are not paying? you won't have to pay our cost or get a bad credit rating, so if you have nothing constructive to say then say nothing. you just carry on paying and fight your own corner. with what you have said about your dealings with bpf why go back to them for another loan after the way you say they treated you the first time. sounds dodgy to me.
  11. did you know that if you are given a bad credit rating by bpf you can reply on the site as to why you withheld payment. with what we have to say about bpf and thier methods should make your credit rating a lot better reading to others.
  12. well feedme how do you intend getting your money back? if everyone did as you say, keep paying, bpf would be laughing at us. why should people pay for something they do not want? i dont think you understand the situation here, we are paying for goods that we are and never will get now. if you order something, pay for it then get something you do not want why are you not entitled to your money back? are you saying we should pay up and shut up untill bpf decide whats best for everyone? i think you would be beating bpf for a long time because they do not care about anything or one they just want your money. you could beat them black and blue they would still ask for your money.
  13. exactly right s75 applies if you had a credit agreement with bpf and to repay in full after 1 year whether you repaid in cash or cheque you still borrowed the money from bpf for 1 year. if you did not pay in full after 1 year the interest would be added. s75 does not apply if you did not borrow the money from bpf and just paid advent the money. the salesman was from advent not bpf he/she offered bpf as a way to pay if you did not have the money up front, telling you you will be in a job by then earning £1000s so it would be easy to pay back. so if you signed an agreement with bpf you ARE covered by s75.
  14. did you pay up straight away or did you take credit for a year then pay. if you did then you are covered by s75. did you sign a credit agreement with bpf or did you pay advent the cash? if you paid advent by debit card then you are screwed but if you paid bpf after 1year interest free then you are covered. hope this helps.
  15. to hurry up and sign. that is the bit that is getting me. only a few places left. what do they mean only a few, if that was true why am i reading about students signing up all year + long, where was the cut off for signing up. it seems to me that this is missleading us because i bet there was no cut off point. they just told us that to get us to sign up. i have this in writing that there is limited places left has anyone else? bluedo have you got the salesmans signature on your enrolment form? how come you have 3 copies you are only surposed to have the blue one i think the other 2 go to head office i think. if you have all 3 how did you enroll for the coarse? advent t&cs section 2.1 states no sig no contract.
  16. exactly right bludo, what training are we getting it has been 3 months or more and i have still not been contacted by incompucrap. so how can bpf say that they found an alternitive for us. they may have found a provider but it is not even trying to provide. i have not even had the chance to tell them that i do not want them as my provider.
  17. with incomputeach urging students to sign up and verify thier details seems very strange to me why would they want to do that if bpf have paid them for our tuition? or could it be once you sign up and agree bpf pay them? othrwise why are they so insistant on us signing up. i have not had a letter, phone call or email yet and dont rearly want any coms with them, the longer i dont hear the better the case against bpf will be for not providing an alternative.
  18. hi fuzzbutt thanks for the email i have got all my documents and signed the papers, they will go tomorrow. you have done a fantastic job with this and spent most of your time helping us all. when our case is won you will deserve a medal for your effort alone and i reacon i speak for everyone that you have helped in saying a massive massive thank you.
  19. got my letter from bpf sat they said my complaint would be resolved by the 14 april. don't hold out much hope on a refund been given probably will be a letter saying they have fullfilled the contract if you do not agree contact fos.
  20. up to now i have heard squiddly from computeach, no email no letter no phone call. and still no refund from bpf. any word on the letter from cag team? it must be coming up to 10 or more weeks now without any tutoring, not that i want it now i have been thrown right off course now don't know what to do. was only 5% away from my exam when this happened. recon i will be 50%off now.
  21. this was the same spill the salesman gave me. if there was a 2 year time scale then why is it not mention in thier portfollio they gave me? only thing mentioned is you can go at your own pace not go at your own pace as long as you complete in 2 years.
  22. good point, if the contract is terminated if they go into administration and computeach are saying they will hold you to a contract that no longer exsists then ct have to offer a new contract and if you dissagree with the conditions surely this means that you no longer have a contract so you should be intitled to a refund. would that be right?
