  2. Since Advent (who is also Anglo Capital) is claiming insolvency it is unlawful and constitutes fraud for Anglo Capital to take payment when the company is no longer solvent / able to trade.

  5. Agree! I think they should offer us a choice to have an alternative provider or get a refund. --edit Has anyone been in a Barclays Bank Office yet? I was told that I should go there and write a form for refund, as they can not do it verbally by phone.
  6. yes and unfortunately to CDL owners, accordingly to the contract, they cannot get a refund

  15. I don't see anything like that in my contract. I only see that I signed The Direct Debit Guarantee agreement.
  16. I think this is what just happened to advent. This paragraph is under the point 10. "Termination"
  17. krevvy @9AndS they[barclays' representative] said will get a letter in approximately 2 weeks telling me if refunding or finding new training provider.

According to paragraph 3.5 of the signed contract: Subject always to paragraph 3.6, where either of us terminates the contract (otherwise than in accordance with paragraphs 7.1, 10.1.2 or 10.1.3), we shall refund to you your course fee less any reasonable costs and expenses that we have incurred or are bound to incur in connection with the course and/or the contract.
  19. All aboard! I just rung Barclays and they are saying they are investigating the situation and can't do refunds right now. They told me to write a claim for refund to administration of the bank. They also mentioned that they will be looking for a replacement training provider, which I don't want to accept at all..
