  2. oooh i got gardx, didn't realise i had been shafted that way as well, oh goody more ammunition for me......no wonder the 'saleswoman' (and i use that term lightly) gave me 2 kits, one for the car i bought from them and one that we came in.

  6. HELP! heres my letter, if someone could peruse it i would be very grateful then i can get it sent off. Thanks in advance. Welcome Financial Services Compliance Ruddington Fields Business Park Ruddington Nottingham NG11 6N3 Date Agreement Number Dear Sirs After going over my agreement to modify my hire purchase agreement, I feel it necessary to ask some questions as to the validity of said agreement. I wil try and simplify things to expedite this matter. The option fee has been classed as a charge for credit :£1.00 (u) Charge credit for goods: S+T+U = £2,974.98 (v) It has then been carried over to Total Charge for Credit: V+W = £3,203.78 (x) This option fee needs to be added either on the first or last payment of the agreement. As it has been included in the total charge for credit, I therefore question the validity of said agreement. Explanations of this matter would be welcomed forthwith. Regards How does that sound people, some feedback would be great.
  7. Thanks for your words of support beyond, all i want is help with this letter.
  8. Still cant sleep, worrying myself stupid about this, shall i just write in the letter: i'm putting the account into dispute heres my agreement number? Sorry to ask again, but just a bit scared, husband moved out yesterday so i'm going to have to handle this by myself, and my 12 year old keeps looking out of the window to see if the 'baliff' is coming back. I just want to cry.
  9. Good luck beyondhope! Wonderin if I should consult a solicitor, costly business though.
  10. hi djwigster, thank you for answering my cry! I did get the names of the police, and no I have not paid a third of the agreement, thats what i'm worried about. The letter you put up were helpful but i really don't have te foggiest where to start shall i just copy postggi post about the figures, i dont have a clue sorry.
  11. PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER....HELLLLP! Its been about a week since monkey came and went, my question is, will they obtain a court order and what happens if they do, do i go "tadaaa" with my agreement or what. Will they been even be bothered to get a court order, I'm scared i haven't heard anything from them for a couple of weeks, i feel like their hiding round the corner ready to go "BOO"!, me nerves cant take it. Anybody know anything about these court order things, and if it means not having postggji writing me a letter too that would be great because i know he's busy. xxxx
  12. Post is there a letter on here i could copy from but just adhere to myself on another thread, just so i can help out instead of adding myself to the pile of 'letters to do' xx
  13. Sorry post, no probs, just acting out my middle child syndrome again!
  14. Well, all quiet on the home front, i still feel as if i'm looking over my shoulder, and parking in the drive is a nightmare (i am a woman after all lol) and having to padlock the gates! I wonder if post has had any time to do the letter....heres hoping
  15. Thank you all, couldn't have done it without you. Do you think they will/can get a court order, or because the haven't a legal leg to stand on and all of their correspondence is cacka they wont?
  16. Mark, a few weeks ago before havin the the joy of stumbln on this site I would have rolled over and died and given the monkey the car, but armed with information that everybody an what I gleaned from he other threads I was fully armed with my info, monkey phoned the police and i dont know athe said but two cars came blues and twos down my street. He got so angry with one of them he demanded his name, which p.c gave quite wilingly, he then asked why whe tis happened a cpl of month ago to someone else did police say it was ok, p,c said not my case thatwas ten this inow. Also beyondhope, police said i should hide the car till the case had been disputed, he asked if i could put iin my garage but is choka block wit non garagey things, so thts the only help i could give you.
  17. OMG the came and tried to repo the car today, i asked him if he had a court order he said no, i said well you aint getting the car, he said you oly need court order for paying 1/3, i was like, no your not, this went on for a few minutes and i was refusing to give him the car. Anyway hs says hes going to big eldest daughter up from work at this point 'monkey jumps into the car, and says and i quote 2as soon as i have touched this car this belongs to me..i was like yeah fnar fnar...get out...he wouldn't, he then said he was going to ring the police so i told him go ahead.......the upshot was that this monkey was trying to tell the police that i was stealing the car (i told them all about the letters and agreements) then tried to tell Mrs P.C that this was theft, which she didnt take too kindly too. He kept banging on and said he could take my car to the pound and that i could sort it out with welscum, whivh i declined as i saw, an auction site at the bottom of his 'forms', the police looked at these forms and again asked if he had a court order which he replied no, police sed he needed one, he argued the toss with the p.c and was this much away from being lifted said i was a civil case and the police agreed and said if they touch my car, hes in for it BIG STYLE,they couldn't have been more helpful, they advised me to put the car on the drive and padlock the gates, and said he could only come back if he had a court order, don't know if thats going to happen, I feel a small victory anyway and to see his smug g]face falling as the police turned against him was classic. xxxxxx
  18. Thank you for all your words of encouragement, I know I'm in great hands with post, it was a natural knee jerk reaction to get worried about the 'termination' letter, and as mark rightly said i understand that without predjudice means bugger all but was still worried, i am now reassured, i wont write anything else as i know post(the sweetheart that he is) is helping other folks and I have to be patient. Sorry everyone
  19. Thank you so much for all your support, I do hope that you all and postggj didnt think I was pressuring him (like he would take any notice lol!)I do wonder though if i will still get a visit from one of their monkeys trying to repo the car, looking at other threads, do i put up a fight and call the police?..............xxxxxx:confused: Really sorry people to be a pain, I can normally sort things out myself but I am flummoxed. Sorry
  20. Thanks for that beyondhope, the words 'cacking myself don't even come into it!
  21. Thanks step, I do worry though as its been a while since he's been on, and this termination letter is a bit scary.
  22. HELP! I've received a letter today in the post it says: WITHOUT PREJUDICE We refer to the Notice of Default issued from this office on 31st December 2008. In order to protect our interests, your hire purchasr account has now been terminated and the full balance of the account is now payable. Depending on what you have paid this means we either reposses the above vehicle or apply for a court order without further notice to you. In addition you may be held liable for any remaining balance after the vehicle is sold and the proceeds credited to your account, and we reserve the right to commence legal proceedings for the recovery of any outstanding sums. We would strongly urge you to contact us as a matter of urgency. No further notices will be issued." I've spoken to the manager a couple of weeks ago and said what post had to say, what should I do now, I feel as I am on borrowed time, I haven't paid a third either so what do i do. PLEASE HELP!
