hi there, been a while since i posted but i feel i have to vent someplace after the performance had with British gas customer disservice , it began on Wednesday dint have cash as benefit was delayed, so pawned all i had left my wedding ring so as to allow e to credit G and E meter, only got enuf to put 5 pound on each ended up taking 4.20 debt and left 80p emergency... called bg and i explained i have a severely disabled son who needs turning ect hes doubly incontinent and i do everything for him so i get income support as a full time carer for my son exlpained he needed bathing 3 maybe 4 times a day our heating cooking and water is all gas i dont even own an electric kettle to heat water dont own microwave to feed him warm food.......first guy spoke too was really nice.. and sent ten pound emergency via an engineer.......... with me so far? ........ anyways today i want got credit enuf until get paid so i thought i brought card home put it in and it said call help! so did call BG again someone called sharon loughrn in south africa! she said nothing she could do and can i not just shower my son instead? this was 8am in the morning had just got my son up and he was very soiled( sorry maybe tmi) and he needed cleaning and bathed he has pressure sores and its v easy infected during this time my sons social worker arrived and witnessed the state my son had been left in for three hours before BG turned up and vented her concerns my son is 21 and weighs 15 n half stone im 5 ft 1 and weigh 9 stone she said can i not just mannage him in to the shower erm dont have a shower and besides do they think if i had have had a shower i wouldnt have thought of that JEEZE some peeps anyways asked for supervisor told sorry they will say the same by this time im raging i had just got my son out of bed to bath and change him NO GAS!! the money i had topped up was awol.......... phone BG again another hour on fone got told to go to neare3st pay point and put a pound on card aNBD THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY so in the pouring rain for the second time i did this we dont drive and i had to take my son with me 3mile round trip ........... we got home soaked put card in meter and it took the pound ninty pence debt left me ten pence!! so again called brithish gas again this is 4th time today the call i made this time i explind my problem as asked and was told ohh thats too much information i dont need to hear that and HUNG UP! so have done stage one complaints still waiting on a call back all i want is the money i paid this morning on my card what can i do i have told them my sons welfare rights advisor was herwe at 4pm today and they promised to call me be4 that im still waiting with v lkittle gas any advice do they not have a duty of care to vulnerable people sorry message garbled but writting this streaming with tears please understand xx any help please?? x

XXXXX It is quite obvious that the reason that you do not wish to speak regarding your account is that you are not willing to deal responsibily regarding you debt. £15 per month is completely unacceptable. You have not even bothered to have the courtesy to explain why you are only able to pay this amount. It is fairly clear that you have taken this loan out under false pretences and therefore I will be passing this onto 3rd party recovery who will contact you any way they wish whether that be phone, email, door to door or by letter. Gavin Armstrong i did explain why i couldnt pay said ammount when due but thats fallen on deaf ears it seems ? and now im besides myself thinking that hes basicaly accusing me of fraud!! thats not the way it was after all i have been consistantly repaying these lowlifes since last june! i dont know what to do anymore am lost?? btw i hope things for you with these ptp peeps is better than im having?? kind regards, Sleepy:confused:

well heres an update on my ptp nightmare, had the usual i must get in touch email from Gavin, then nothing and then today i got an email yada yada saying hes checked my details Ni number and work etc hmm am sure theres got to be a data protection thing there ? anyway i have been warned to telephone him ASAP as thats the only way he wants to talk to me re my account.......... now i am so stressed out its unreal , any advice welcome

hi robjam, at the moment and almost frkn suicidal with fear had a message on voicemail ta contact the dreaded gavin armstrong! have requested contact be via letter or email but they aint taking that now im getting texts too and voicemail etc dunno how much more i can take apparently gavin is one of the nastier ones just what i dont need at the moment Sleepy x

hi fairclaire, have cancelled dd, and have got new card hmmm the phones ringing off the hook and now i am getting texts etc from gavin armstrong! joy! there charging me £59 for default am panicking and have sent plz only contact me via letter email request but my phone is constant i dont take the calls but they leave voicemails and send me texts (maybe this is there get around sending me texts)? i dont know where to turn now to be frank i had to have doc out as i had a panick attack and im just so scared especcially its from gavin armstrong ive read so many bad scary things about his manner and they way he deals with people kind regards sleepy x

hiya marshmallow, just wanted to say a huge thankyou for the message of support. as of yet am still sitting on pins and cant think straight, but then i remembered its new year holidays so the snakes will be out and about getting to there partys etc think our banking opens again tues i will just have to sit tight i have downloaded some templates from here i just have to get the courage to sit for a little while and write to the ptp folks thing is i dont know wheather to write before they open again of wait until i hear from them? i got an email yesterday morning from ptp but it was the usual reminder that payment was due to them yest i have cancelled debit card and cancelled there dd dont know what else to do to be honest kindest regards Sleepy x

hi mr worried, just to enlighten you a little i may have been a little daft when i got the ptp but i had little or no option my son has severe cerebral palsy hydrocephalus and spinabifida he became seriously ill and was taken to a hospital miles and miles away that could give him specialist help i had no money to travel no car no way of getting there to support him so thought i could manage a ptp but then it starts the madness of having to roll over so i could pay normal expenditures etc and then suffered a nervous breakdown because of stress and other factors including my son being ill so then i was only getting statatory sick pay and this is where i find myself now i have just returned back to my pt job and also a carer for my son but now am struggling bigtime my rent is £800 and then theres the NORMAL living expenses luxuries like food etc come last for myself so long as my son has got what he needs its what matters, i hope this answers your curiosity? im sure there are many people in my situation at the moment but these companies dont care whats happened to make you default as long as they get there pound of flesh! am now awaiting the onset of emails phone calls etc..........someone say a prayer for me x

Help please im in a hole with ptp and i cant get out of the spiral im recovering from a nervous breakdown and this is all a little too much for me to bear:confused: i cant afford to keep renewing the loan but have no option i dont know what to say to them and am petrified of answering the phone what do i say in the email i send them? i have finaly got the courage to cancel the DD although i think i may have been too late as its due the 31st and thats new years eve, i cancelled this evening please advise me what to do from now on as regards these snakes? kind regards Sleepy
