hi sorry if in wrong place please help advice needed we are due to go to court to lose our house.we went bankrupt and obviously this is part of it.What i need to know is is the coucil liable to find us somewere as we have 4 kids all under 11 also they said they would have to see weather we made our selves intentionally homeless and that they would put us in a hostle.we were told we need a 3bed house if found not intentionally homeless. would we be entitled to a 3 bed in hostel while they looked into our claim.that basic said they would go through us with a fine hairbrush accounts etc mortgage etc.I have no problem with them doing that but also said social services would have to get involved to .Are they just trying to scare us to go private so its out of there hands as that what hes hoping for but as we went bankrupt theres no change of that.ANY HELP WELCOMED SORRY IF IN WRONG PLACE

hi i have tried to find a house to rent.total nightmare.im due in court in july to go bankrupt can i stay in the house before and after i go bankrupt when they would have to reposs the houseis this possible or do i have to wait to get the house repossed first any advice would be good thanks

hi heidi hope all is well thanks for the advice can you tell me if i can go bankrupt while living in the house still. will they just take the house after i go br then give me the set amount of days to get out we are finding it hard to find 3 bed house then and all the problems that come with it.so hopefully when they take the house after the 28days are up etc that the council might rehouse us as there are 6 of us all kids under10 so think they would put us in a house as we would need 3 bed in a hostal or bed and breakfast.any morehelp would be good thanks mike

hi im new to this. i am just wanting some info. we are in our house but have had enough of chasing to pay bills etc i need to now a few answers can anyone help. we have a mortgage of 160k a secured loan of 14k left to pay a home assittance loan from council for 8k secured on the house as its needto be paid if we sold the house unsecured of 8k totalsecured 182k unsecured 8k if we went BR would all this get included or would we still be liable any help would be great and sorry if in the wrong pls also if we sold the house in all about 28k-30kshortfall just want a new start would we be liable for the shortfall also we want to get a rented place first then go bankrupt so basically get out then go bankrupt and give keys back thanks hiedi for the help but more would be good thanks
