  1. I'm not sure why you've emailed me twice about telling me that I to quote you ''attacked'' a member of your team - and was being again quote ''aggressive'' - I am uninterested in an argument, lol - helping people yes but what exactly about me offends you, or your team members? Like I said - ''Is it coz I iz female''? Have a good life ya all... Bye-bye, I have a life to live :oDxxx
  2. As above - covered under the Roads Traffic Act Laws RTA 1988, sect 22 & CUR reg 103 Why be argumentive for the sake of it? People on here want help not peole fluffing theirown egos surely?
  3. Oh dear - you are ill informed! I usedto work for police...
  4. Flippin' billiant - well done - I really admire you guys who do this off your own back just to help and support us less knowledgeable on the subject - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I only hope I can help someone else soon with some of my limited knowledge - I used to work for the police... Perky is a misserable human who should channel his energy into something more useful to sociaty rather than trying to be a negative, depressing little fc-uk 'er ;o) Bee happy!
  5. Oh come on sweetie - don't you get it - if there isn't any cases then it's because the companies know they'll loose and don't want to set themslves up a precidence in law... In anycase - if they don't ever take it to court then job done - the result is the same right? EITHER WAY WE WIN! Doh! PS Did you ever used to watch Pinky and Perky? Remember the two little piggies? LMAO!
  6. Good luck babes - I'm having a similar dispute although thanks to this brilliant site I haven't even admitted it's my vehicle - and I've used some great letter drafts and lines... Stand firm - I too am a 'Harrassed Mum!' with a recently disabled daughter to boot! I say, in addition to fighting these parasites, we should let our protests be heard - involve local press if the signs are not clear - plus write to any of the businesses that allow these sharks to feed off innocently caught out people and vote with our feet!!! We should all draft a letter between us to print off - well, maybe all you geniuses that are good at that sort of thing - saying we are intending to take our business else where until they stop dealing with these underhand gangsters! Complain to Watchdog, trading standards Office of Fair Trading and police if we feel they break the law in any way - remember you only have to believe an offence has been committed to insist the police investigate. Especially these companies suggest we have 'committed an offence' - (like I have found Parking Eye are when they alleged a vehicle bearing my VRM parked in one of the ALDI supermarket chain's car park for too long) They pose as having some legal office or authority and harrass MOPs like us (an offence in itself as I have discovered under section 40 the Administration of Justice Act - THANX GUYS!) I mean are they really worried about people abusing their car park (it was a quiet Sunday and the car park was never more that a quarter full) - or is it the highest profit margin product they do? Hit them where it hurts and don't give them your business... Spread the word around friends and families and write to our MP's! You go girl and keep us posted! (",)xxx
  7. Hiya - had the debt been acknowledged by a court? In any case - if you feel you've been harrassed I would ring your local police force on their non-emergency numer for advice. But I have to say, having worked in a police call centre fpr Tjames Valley Police, they are often reluctant to open up an harassment case. I believe the criteria is something like, 'A person behaves in a way likely to cause alarm or distress, with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, if he a uses threating abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour or displays in any writting, signs or visual representation anything which is threatening, abusive or insulting - thereby causing that or another person harassment alarm or distress,,, This has to be a 'course of conduct', with at least 2 seperate incidents... By the way - I have often asked police call centres for advice and somrimes Trading Standard depatments - and they often get things wrong - so don't be put off by any one answer - always check things out and get second and thrid opinions! At TVP I know for a fact that the staff that are most likely to answer your questions are the very most recent, and so the most inexperienced mambers of staff - The experienced ones are doing Crime Reports or taking Officer Reported Crimes - and they are by no means infalabe! BTW with reference to the police not investigating - don't be fobbed off by their call takers - most police call takers are not police officers but civillian staff - if you report that you 'believe' a crime has been committed (in this case harassment) the police are duty bound to investigate under Home Office rules... I believe it may have to be on-going though - not *historical - but I'd have to (and will) check that part. Buzby (below) though is right though about getting these things past the CPS - that's where most cases fall... Good luck with it!
