You've got my support. I'm 2 years in to this very problem myself and now off sick from work because of it all. I cannot begin to tell you how ill it's made/making me. They've even forged the agreement and I can prove it. Where's Martin Lewis when you need him.

Does anyone have a copy of that internal memo by any chance? I am in the middle of this very problem.

Thanks guys, just to update: TPS letter received today states there are 'variations to the company name i.e. 3, Three, 3G, 3 Mobile, 3 Network, Network 3 etc' 3 are aware some other companies are misrepresenting themselves as 3. They are investigating the problem and attempting to identify the parties responsible. My complaint to TPS will be included in their regular report to the Info Comms. I rang B.T. nuisance calls bureau (B.T. themselves have said there is nothing they can do) Lovely lady there told me they get thousands upon thousands of calls like mine and there is nothing that can be done about it! So many calls that even they are fed up with them - because there's nothing they can do! The originator of an international call cannot be traced - that is why they do it, because they know they can get away with it. My options are to set up an international call blocker or change my number (or call Watchdog!) Thanks again for the advice - much appreciated

This afternoon I received a phone call from a man purporting to be 'part of the 3 network' and his call was in relation to my mobile phone contract (which is not with them). I have had these calls previously (even though I am x directory and registered with the call barring service). Before they get started on their sales pitch I always tell them I am not interested and ask them to remove my number from their list. Their accent makes them difficult to understand, (not sure which country they call from) but they usually get the message and leave me alone for a couple of weeks. Their latest call today is something else. After telling him I wasn't interested, he started to ramble in what sounded like a foreign language, it was only when I finally started to make out what he was saying, I realised he was not only swearing at me (f off, you're an f.ing bitch and the like), but making suggestive and lewd remarks (relating to fingers and well, not my cat) In disbelief I repeated I wasn't interested (!) and told him I would report him for harassment - he laughed and asked 'and who are you going to report to to ma'am'. I told him he was a joke and put the phone down, but the question is who do I report him to? I didn't ask for the phone call or the abuse and I'm not a prude but really. Any constructive advice would be appreciated.
