  1. check out Y-cam - they make IP cameras and i have one at my house and it works very well. I have the Bullet Y-cam | Wireless Internet Video Cameras and IP Camera Range | Y-cam Knight, Y-cam Black, Y-cam White SD You will need basic Broadband installed at the house, the cameras do not use the bandwidth as stated above, for really good video a basic 2mbps broadband connection will work fine. When you are not watching it, it doesnt use any bandwidth either, so you could get away with broadband that is "limited" if it changes the monthly cost. The camera is wireless, so once you have the broadband connected, you can just plugin in the camera and away you go, no need for extra wiring. The difference of this camera and a standard cheapy webcam is that it has motion detection in it and nightvision - so it can alert you by email when someone is in your garden, even at night time! I use it to watch my front drive, I know when the postman has been, when couriers arrive, who has visited... the camera records it all on an internal memory card, so there is no need for a computer to be on all the time. Hope this is useful to someone! I spent alot of time researching this when I got one
  2. Off topic to this case, but Global Telecom still owe me several hundred pounds for a premium rate phone line business I operated through them a few years ago. They lied, squirmed and then just kept putting the phone down on me.
