Ok, thanks will not use letter. But are we completely 100% positive you have to pay the £10 fee to get statements?

Thanks for all your help. He only has a number of statements not all, so I am going to send the letter requesting the statements just to ensure we don't miss anymore money he has paid out. They are wanting to close the account becasue he is over his overdraft and he is keeping it that way so they don't close it. Once we have sorted this out we will close the account and open a new one with someone else as due to his motorbike accident within the next year he will be getting a HUGE payout and Lloyds TSB will be sorry then.

Hi All, Sat down with my friend last night to go through his statements with Lloyds Tsb. In April 2005 he was knocked off his motorbike and is now registered as disabled, he cannot work ever again at the age of 29. Therefore he only gets disability allowance, he struggles to pay any bills as his mortgage is £750 a month. TSB don't seem to care. to this day he has not come out of his £1k overdraft and they have now sent him a lettter telling him to get out of it so they can close the account! After going through some statements last night we have discussed since Sep 2005 he has payed £3k + in charges. I'm going to send a letter off for him today, does anyone have a template? also I was told you don't have to pay the £10 initially? is this true?

I need some advice on weather I can pursue this or not? I have finance on my Renault Clio with RFS Finance Group. I lost my job in August 2005 and rang them instantly to inform them that I would not be able to pay that months installment. They said due to the fact my insurance didn't cover that I HAD to pay it, unfortunately it took my while to get a job and soft out all my bills which had spiralled out of control so within a 6month time frame I have paid £450 in charges!!! £25 a letter!!!!! As they are a finance company I have been told I don't have a chance by a friend but does anyone else know any different?

Hi, Can I have some help pelase... last January I lost my job, I had £136 outstanding with Next which I could not pay, in the end my nan cleared the account for me.....it's only been a couple of months ago that I have discovered they have put a default against my name.... Then once these have pushed me over my credit limit "overlimit charge" appears! What template should I use to request all statements? pleas ehelp?

I would like to request charges from Capital one as they keep adding things such as "Cash interest", "Cash Advanced Fee", "Purchase Interest" onto my bills, then when they have pushed me over my credit limit by adding these they then hit me with a, "overlimit charge"! Does anyone have some templates to help me please?
