Hi thanks for your reply. I never speak to them on the phone. I have written to them ( and never sign) and told them I've been paying them, and gave them proof, but they don't seem to be listening to me! Like you said it's properly just a fishing trip!

Hi all, I had a loan from Halifax that was passed to Blair, Oliver & Scott about a year ago. Had an arragement to pay them £10 per month. From Jan this year I increased the payments to £50. I've never missed a payment. I receieved a letter in Feb saying that they'd been trying to contact me, because I'd failed to respond to they requests for payment! Wrote to them told them that I had been paying, requested a CCA and told them to stop telephoning me. The phone calls have'nt stopped and this morning I received another letter telling me they are goihng to send door step collecters and/or start court action. My question is do I write to them again or do I ignore them and wait to see if they can produce a CCA? Thank you

Hi I've got to go for an operration in April. It's being done at the Fielding Johnson Hospital in Leicester. I've never heard of it, so did a google search but it did'nt really tell me much, and I was wondering if anyone on here has had any dealing with, or could tell me anything about it. Thank you

Hi thank you for your reply. I've been in touch with the OFT. They were quite helpfull. They've advised me on what to do next, including complaining to the manager and local council. Which is what I plan to do today. One thing I will say. The gentleman I spoke to was,nt at all surprised when I told him about Harland's, and there tactics! I'll let you know what happens.

Hi my son,s having the same problems with Harlands. He dos'nt owe them anything, but they say he owes them £89 in chargers, relating to gym membership at the local council run gym. He's refusing to pay, so they rang the other council run sports hall in town were he plays/coaches basketball and told the manager not to let him on the premises, because he owes them money!

Hello My son has had quite a few £20.00 administration charges taken out of his bank account by Harlands (for gym membership), on account of his Direct Debit payments to them being returned by his bank. He rang Hardlands to ask for the administration charges back, but they said that they are allowed to charge them.That as there part of his contract that he signed they are not unlawfull. I wondered if anyone could advise me if are they the same as bank and credit card charges, and can he claim them back. Any advise would be very much appriecated. Thank you
