  1. You're a proper night owl S1, sorry for tagging you teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Hi Olivers mummy, If you look in http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=39&Itemid=78 you will find the rejection letter. Yes you should reject this offer, they seem to do it randomly. If you are in receipt of certain benefits you will not have to pay the court fees, if not then I'm afraid you will, check out the site below. https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp If you can get it paid for you need to go to court & fill in the paperwork there. Good luck, you will get the cash back. Andrew
  3. Sent my complaint today to the FSA, £350 charges since May, requested repayment on several occasions, been offered part payment for our joint acct but nowt on my sole one. We will await the outcome. Andrew
  4. Teacher huh, you really are a saint. G'night Andrew
  5. If, you lived in Sheffield it could have been washed away. Thanks for all the advice. Late now so I'll bid you g'night, back on at work tomorrow if no ones buying cars. Andrew
  6. Didn't you promise sun this weekend S1, your radar seems to be slipping!
  7. M gardens not too big either, but when it's p*****g in down its a waste of space. Who's the bouncy one then, my two (now mid teens) always loved trampolines, made me sick as a kid, as does bacardi actually, hence the wine which doesn't. Drew
  8. When I was at this stage with the NW in MAY though it was nice to sit on the patio, drinking wine on a glorious evening, sharing the traumas with others in the same boat, still warm at midnight, now it's winter woollies, Next are sending me the AUTUMN catalogue & I am still to go away, thank goodness we're going abroad.
  9. Don't worry emmachantelle, as previously stated it's the bog standard response, mine actually ran to 13 points though god knows what the other two covered that 11 didn't. Alot of people started on MSE & then switched over at the court stage cos that sites a bit "lightweight" from then on. It will be fine. Andrew
  10. Gee thanks S1 you really are a saint, printed off already, Hey ho 5 weeks to go Andrew Would any one like to lay odds as to whether I get a settlement b4 court....seems to be a shambles with PQ at the minute.
  11. Just want to run past an experienced hand my court stuff. It consists of, 1, front sheet, names, case No etc, 2, list of documents included, 3, statement of evidence 4, corrspondence, both ways, 5, schedule of charges 6, statements showing each charge highlighted 7, terms & conditions, albeit from 2007 additions account not a 2001 version. 8, case law summary 9, EDM, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 taken from the basic court bundle. Does any one have 2001 additions t&c ??? Still have 5 weeks to court but 3 weeks to hols so it goes two weeks Monday so I can be sure it got there. Any advice gratefully received Andrew
  12. Thanks S1, just need to reassure myself with the court bundle now & I am ready to rock & roll. Andrew
  13. Thanks DOS, my claim started with MSE & my MCOL claim was £2050 interest only added from date of last charge, not individually, subsequent calculations using the sheet on here make it currently £2250, so can I update the amount without it causing me too much hassle?? Thanks for any advice received. Andrew
  14. Saintly 1, whats a POC, sorry to be thick but not heard that one before. Babyjane, I dont normally like to see people criticised when there is no ability to respond, but I think PQ deserves the boot. Wait while monday & then go talk to the judge again, they will get the message.
  15. Saintly, sorry for being thick but what is a POC ? Andrew. Babyjane, Set the court in motion, B's cannot ignore court judgements. I don't like personal criticism but they (BLT) need a rocket up their arse & I can think of one who should get the boot pronto. Andrew
  16. Are they just snowed under & missing stuff?? They do seem slack at dealing with things, it could do with some judges slinging the cases out & publicly reprimanding B's for their conduct. Hope it went ok Katcash, you probably sat with the judge whilst waiting for B's to attend & then left judgement in hand, let us know. Andrew
  17. In all likelyhood they will enter a defence at the last minute, then you will hear nothing, in the following few weeks you will become accustomed to checking your account daily, twice daily, hourly etc etc. The money will one day appear in your account, just make sure it's for the right amount. In my case they got it wrong (too much tee hee) & then you can communicate your settlement to the court to cancel the case, but only on receipt of cash. You've a bit longer to go in all probability but they will pay up. Andrew
  18. Yeah surely you should be getting a copy of the judgement, I wouldn't assume at this point that NW are responding to one, it could be on its way, definitely worth a call to the court. NW have not got a leg to stand on, the judge has decided in your favour, it's pay up or bailiff time, but still they p*ss you about, unbelievable. They should be calling you asking where to send the money to & will a cheque be acceptable. Incredible Andrew
  19. Sent PQ & Dino a "stern" (lol) e-mail (is there such a thing). My court date is 22nd August, for the 3 weeks before I am away or not available due to work & I have asked them to settle prior to the end of July, because if I don't have funds cleared by then, I will not be available to stop the court action, chances of stern e-mail working, zip, will follow up next week with daily e-mails & calls me thinks.
  20. What did the judge say when he decided in your favour, did he give a time limit etc, for them to pay up, they really appear to be complete incompetents. Keep your calm, nearly there. Andrew
  21. Great stuff, glad for you. If you have charges from prior to 6 years & have the statements to prove it I would now be pursuing those too. I certainly intend to have a go at Barclays for 6 + years once they settle on the last 6 & others are looming in my sights too. It has to be worth the effort. Andrew
  22. Did u sign an order form that stated the deposit was not refundable, if you did then u have lost the money, if not they cannot hold it.
  23. Read the terms & conditons of the contract hire agreement. Most stipulate 50% of outstanding rentals have to be paid.
  24. Doesn't it also say on the FOS site that they have NEVER had to make a decision to force a bank to repay the charges as they had ALWAYS settled. Good luck Andrew
