FD did this to me even though they had my new address they sent stuff to my old address, the courier left it with a neighbour who 'kindly' opened it, I didnt find out for 10 days so they had been looking through all my personal infromation at their leisure

Please could someone reassure me........ I have to complete an AQ which I am ok about doing, but should I also send a copy of my schedule of charges when i send it in, and if i do, should it be an up to date one i.e whats due up to today, or the one that I submitted origionally, sorry is this making sense? Also which should I send to DG? I'm starting to confuse myself now!!

I have recently had all my charges back from GE money, I used spreadsheet 13 in vampriess chambers, if you search site u should find it easily. Sorry cant help with the account premium charge, it doesnt appear on my statements. I was suprised how quick they responded and hoy easy they were to deal with. All charges we repaid to my account, which cleared the balance and I asked for a cheque for the remainder.

A job well done, spend it wisely, I have already dealt with GE money and Capital one, both of whom have settle quite quickly, should be a breeze compared to this!!

Hi there, good luck with your claim. I will be watching your thread, I am at a similar stage to you, only i have to submit an AQ, but i am also at Teesside County Court. you are welcome to PM me if you want some support.

Just wait for the AQ if you get one and read new strategy for AQ-, MCOL were a bit slow in transfering my case so if you havent heard anything after a couple of weeks id give them a call, I did and recieved my info a few days later.

Were about similar time scales I've got to submitt AQ by the 8th July.

Just tried to contact DG, there is now a recorded msg saying to contact county court or send a letter detailing enquiry, if your checking to see if a letter has been recieved they suggest you send it recorded. Seems they really are overwhelmed

Hi Shar, I've just settled with CAP1, had to file at court tho! they paid charges, court fee 8% and all intrest they had charged me on account was about 180 less than what i asked for, but i was quite happy with that. Good luck u will get there in the end x

Just an update, received a copy of FD defence, and the AQ, which needs to be submitted by 8th July. Ive sent a nudge letter to FD. As always all help and thoughts greatly received xxx

It depends how long ago you incurred charges, also if you look at my thread indigoblue vs cap 1 theres a link to what to put on N1 when claiming CCI. Hope this helps

Having read the letter again they have actually offered about £180 short of what i asked for. I've spoken to them about the money that they have said they have refunded to a closed account and they have confirmed all monies will be sent to me by cheque within 14 days, Im happy with that so ITS A WIN FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. do i need to send a letter confirming that payment needs to be in the for of a cheque? and obviously i dont stop the court action until the funds are cleared?

Hiya yes you can attach a seperate sheet just make sure it has your name and account number on and attach it to the claim form. I did and it was processed fine

Hi recieved a letter this morning, offering approx £300 short, saying my calculations are wrong. Not sure what to do really, also saying they made a refund in May, if this was to the card the a/c had been closed last year.

So if they dont file a defence by Thurs do I go for a judgement by default?

Just phoned the court to check if a defence has been filed at their time is up on Thursday, as yet nothing!! do they usually leave it this late?

saved me loads of time, cant comment on the a/c number problem as i didnt have them anyway. A really useful tool!!!

Cap 1 have acknowledged my claim they have until 21st to file a defence

Update - FD acknowledged a day late, the court accepted this so more waiting.........., should i be doing anything while im waiting, I just had notification that they intend to defend all of my claim..........

FD have done the same to me, acknowledged a day late but was accepted by the court. just the waiting game now

quick update, had reply from court they have till 7th June to acknowledge
