  1. No problem - Let me know what they say i should be able to help.
  2. They dont have a direct line but dial: 0800 200 400 and ask to be put through to the lending centre.
  3. With a student account with Natwest you can only trigger unpaid item charges - £38. You wont be charge a £28 ubf on a natwest student account.
  4. what were the charges on your account?? default charges are £30. So the debt mentioned is that - £1400 for the od facility that you used (interest free) and £60 worth of charges??
  5. What ATM was it - ie Natwest/RBS etc??
  6. If you give your pin to someone else, even your partner/spouse you are breaking the banking code ... i found that out the hard way ... It makes sense really!!
  7. I would call the bristol lending centre because they will be able to see the exact reason behind the letter being sent out.
  8. yeah i agree. I dont understand how it would have passed the free income criteria. it doesn't make sense!! It should have been a straight forward decline from the underwriters!! let me know if you need any more advice. Sammy
  9. I worked for them whilst completing my first year of my law degree. I didnt work for the debt managment department myself but referred people to them who needed help, and i always had positive feedback from customers !!
  10. What was the charge of £38 for?? With natwest a charge for £38 will be triggered when an item is returned unpaid ... ie a direct debit. Or is the charge a £28 ubf?
  11. It may be best to speak to Natwest and ask for the account to be transferred to the Debt Management department. They can basically freeze interest etc and agree an affordable monthly repayment. Its also an internal debt management facility, so will not show on any credit reports etc.
  12. Have you called Natwest yet and asked for advice on what to do ... They will offer a gogw for you first offence so you may find you get half back by just calling first of all ...
