  2. Welcome When you say standard 8%..It comes to £152.00 ? if you are just adding 8% on the total(£1.900 )...If your charges go back a long way am sure it should be more than you are claiming...You claim back 8% per charge per year..Do check this , there is a calculator on site(nor sure where..) to help you with this.Dont let them have a penny that belongs to you..Also again please check your wording (from the library on here ) for your N1 form it really needs to be spot on with the laws your using to claim back..
  3. Go on this link look in the purple box to your left, click forms and guidance..You will need an N1 and an EX160,The EX160 will tell you if you need to pay a fee or not..You can fill in and pay online with money claimonline or fill in and print off the forms(from the forms link) and go in person to courts (be sure of your wording both ways..Its very important ) Info about - County court bulk centre - money claim online Yes the bank could pay your reclaimed charges into your account,at least it will lessen you debt,Yes claim back from Nationwide, they are penalties,Your loan may well be persued through court, make them an offer of regular payments that you can afford to avoid that,Have you added interst ? do so before you file your claim,it will bump up the total. Please take you time with your claims either way you go,better to ask than get it wrong.

  17. Thanks jeep n wife Yes bet it would be better to pay as bill is due like "olden days ".Forgive me for being thick but will that mean paper statements or would they bill you via"tinternet" Yes i was thinking you would still be charged for a missed or late payment by SO an bet it not much less if any cheaper than DD,But then i suppose you would not get hammered from other side for it not being there to take ! think im whats termed a silver surfer and have a lot to learn bout technology,an banking.thanks all for enlightenment

  19. Along similar sort of thing,on totting up your charges ready for court...If you should over estimate the charges "by mistake of course" that the bank owe say by couple of hundred would they bite the bullet, and give you the money,or go to court ? As up to press very few want to go to court,Could it be a way of making them attend ? just a thought.. As i saw somewhere an answer to some one who had got it wrong an the reply was "oh leave it its up to the banks to defend it an as they wont go to court ?) Am not sugesting folk bump up the claim at all,Just one o them things buzzing round my head when i try go to sleep. Can tell whats upermost on my mind eh;)

  23. This site and the folk that run it are wonderfull,Where on earth else could you get such advice and support for nothing.I like the new donate bit at the bottom,But will we need a credit card or debit card to donate that lets me out if so, and i so want to contribute when i have anything to give. Not many of us members i suspect could have a hope in hell of fighting the banks let alone winning without your help and wisdom...If any one does take advice an then says thanks tara,They should hang there heads in shame:mad: so what can i an other basic folk do to contribute if we aint got card or cheques I will when i can folks "I.O.U a substatial donation Lizzie"
  24. Thanks cornflake Suspected it would have to be same amount each month at least thats the mortgage, gas, lec,t.v licence, tinternet(by heck would sell kids first before that goes now)that i can start with, which dont leave a lot phone,(on it to change to reg outgoing)water rates, ill ring them, think thats it then,As you say though banks still have it stiched up for charges,But not for long i hear you all say Out of interest have you been on the penaltycharge site ? "Bankhell" going same route as you with sky Thaks for taking time out to reply ill keep posting
