  1. Also John, no members of the Press were at the meeting. I should know - 45 mins I'll not get back just to witness a foregone conclusion. But very worthwhile .
  2. Re: Bus lane PCN - York Council/Lendal Bridge **Appeal Upheld** Yep! I can't post a dropbox link yet, a couple of hundred signage photos of coppergate and lendal bridge restrictions. Would be great if someone could - I'm on facebook kev.dobbin and twitter @dobbin_k Kevin. I am sorry that I cannot provide photos of Coppergate or Lendal Bridge. At the moment,I only have photos of the weeds in the streets from last year. They are coming up again now,it looks nice for tourists. Regards,John. Was referring to our exchange way back, obviously got our wires crossed - I was trying to offer a couple of hundred photos of the restrictions in York that I have taken. I wasn't asking for them. But its a bit late for me to correct that now. Thats the aspect, John. Council 'goodwill gesture' illegal regardless what cabinet conclude. They are deluding themselves, nobody is above the law.
  3. Wouldn't get too excited about updates. Things can change in a week or so. Council are still legally obliged to contact and refund, despite their protestations.
  4. John , bit late now but I have couple of hundred photos on facebook and twitter for victims. naery mundo!

  6. John, this is frantic spin from a desperate, defeated young man heading the council. The bridge was never lawfully closed, there were no legally enforceable restrictions (Adjudicator's decision 27th March 2014, YR 05035C - cml.sad.ukrd.com/document/254991.pdf). This empty headlines only gives credence to his ridiculous attempts to deny The Law that is binding upon him and the motorist. The law has found against him and in favour of the motorist. He is desperately floundering as he attempts to hold on to 'revenue' of £millions from ill gotten gains of his [problem] and salvage his career. Kevin Dobbin - York
  7. A refund template for reclaiming PCN from City of York Council: dropbox.com/s/phkrocdgwugbc92/York_PCN_Refund.doc
  8. Ahh yes.. Coppergate. A TRO/TMO with holes big enough to drive buses through, and enforcement procedural improprieties the like of which compare only to Lendal 'Bridgegate'. I'd like to share some photos of the approaches to these restrictions that I have added to Facebook but I have to wait seven days. If any one is interested I have shared them to the say no to lendal bridge closure facebook page. I am not against the closure trial but think it was implemented badiy. A congestion charge or a complete pedestrianisation are fairer options if properly instigated, in my personal opinion. Regards Kevin
