  1. Another question! As Im going through my statments Im noticing 'overdraft fee' £37.50 from 2001 - does anyone else have this? Is it an agreed overdraft fee therefore unreclaimable? Or is it a going over the overdraft limit and therefore reclaimable?
  2. Hi All Got my 6yrs worth of statments and am slowly going through them, has anyone just claimed the charges +8%? Im still confused on all these interest rates I can claim back from them...
  3. Thanks RedSonja - Will await Mr Udy's reply then!
  4. Hi Guys, Which is the best place to send this all to: Mr Robert Udy, Executive Office Manager, Capital One Bank (Europe) PLC, PO Box 5281, Nottingham NG2 3HX OR Miss Katherine Blunt Legal Department Capital One Bank, 4th Floor Loxley House Station Street Nottingham NG2 3HX
  5. Listen up guys this is v v v interesting! Just spoke to Cap 1 to double check I havent got any more charges from my Feb statement to add to my list and guess what they charged me £12!! This is because my payment was due on 22nd, I paid cash on 21st and they didnt receive it until 23rd - not my fault! and I paid more than the min payment...so spoke nicely but firmly to the guy (Arvind) said it wasnt my fault if the banks take 2 days to send cash and he refunded the £12. BUT he said it is only a gesture of goodwill and not likely to happen again. I said thanks, greatly appreciated and look forward to receiving my updated statment with the £12 late fee taken off! HURRAH!!!
  6. Hi All Got my claim letter & list of charges ready for Capital One, which address is the best one to send it all to?
  7. Guys I think Im going to take the easy route with this one as it is my first time...Im going to add up all the charges and then add on the 'statutory' 8% and just file a cliam for that...All these CCI charges are really doing my head in! Plus I think I found a calculator to do the 8% for you on another site... Redsonja - will look at what you've sent me - THANK YOU
  8. Hi Sergeant How did you work out 2.05% = 27.56% ? What was the maths behind that?
  9. Hi All Redsonja has been amazingly helpful to me, however I have another question on the spreadsheet matter...F15 is Interest Charged (+), from what I understand you should put 'purchase interest' in this column. Purchase Interest being something that is listed under 'details' on your statement. However I have also been charged 'cash interest', do I add that to purchase interest and then put that total into Interest Charged (+) column?
  10. Hi e28bigalbexley vbmenu_register("postmenu_538128", true); Ived finally done my Crapital One spreadsheet, really not sure Ive got my figures right, rang them tonight to double check APR, so put that into E10 - the interest rate box. Would you mind looking over it for me to see if what ive done is right/makes sense? Thanks!
  11. Hi Redsonja I think Ive finally finished my spreadsheet, would you mind checking over it to see if what ive inputted is correct? For the interest charged + section, i was either charged 1.571% or 1.873% so that is what i put in the box and then moved right and the figures changed automatically for me. Thanks!
  12. oh my goodness sooo much more to read on your threads! thank you! how on earth do i work out interest charged+? say charged levied is £20 (ive noticed they have reduced it down to £12 now but we will go on £20) then what do I do?
  13. thanks! ive started to fill in spreadsheet 16, have got to B15 and have entered overlimit fee charged...HOWEVER on B14 it says 'estimate of previous charges' - what on earth is that all about?!!? THEN on F15 it says interest charged +...now im totally confused?!
  14. I was hoping to add the compounded contractual to the spreadsheet, i was x12 as ukaviator said above...oh dear im totally thick!
  15. Hi redsonja My cash withdrawal interest is 1.804%, my purchase interest is 1.873% same as bal transf interest. So to do contractual interest do i take the purchase interest and x12?
  16. hiya can someone tell me where i can find spreadsheet 13? ive tried the google library thing and even though ive registered for an account it keeps telling me im not allowed to view these docs! what is the difference between spreadsheet 13 and 16?

  24. Hi All This site is great - thank you Only problem is I cant find assistance on what I can claim for from Capital One. Can anyone help me? Can I claim for the following: purchase interest, balance transfer interest, overlimit fee, late payment fee, cash advance fee & cash interest? Your replies would be greatly appreciated Ive been given a spreadsheet from a friend who was successful with NatWest but Im guessing that this is a spreadsheet only for banks and not credit cards - am I right? If so where do I find the spreadhseet for credit cards? Ive tried Vampiress's spreadsheets and for some reason cant open any of the pages from her links.... Thanks
