  1. Hi, Well - BOS have paid up! On my acceptance form, the bank stated they would make payment within 14 days. After waiting patiently, on the 14th day there was still no sign of the money. I returned home from work that day to find a letter from the bank telling me they hadn't received my acceptance form! I phoned customer relations straight away and the woman I spoke to told me they DID have my form, and she would process it as soon as possible. Yesterday lunchtime, a lovely £2500 appeared in my account. Thanks to everyone who has posted advice on this site - I couldn't have done it without you. I will of course be making my donation. A
  2. Thanks Crash. I don't suppose I'll stop worrying totally until the money is in my account, but I think I just needed a bit of reassurance from someone!
  3. Hi, BOS have agreed to settle my claim in full after my LBA. However, I have an old credit card debt which I am paying £40 a month to by agreement of Blair, Oliver and Scott. A while ago, £100 was taken from my account in relation to this debt. I immediately phoned Blair etc and arranged a payment plan with them. They have assured me that as long as I keep to the agreement, they will never take money from my account, other than the agreed amount. Does anyone know if the bank may refuse to pay my refund on the basis that I owe them money, even though I have a payment plan? Any advice appreciated.
  4. I sent it to [email protected]. They didn't reply or even refer to my email in my offer letter but it seems to have worked.
  5. Hi Ida, I had a claim against BOS for £2500. I sent my prelim letter and LBA and got the standard "we are investigating your complaint letters". I decided to give them one last chance and emailed customer relations at the end of last week, attaching my previous letters. When I got home last night I had a letter from the bank offering me the full amount as a goodwill gesture! Maybe if you show them that you aren't willing to give up they will pay out. Good luck!
