Hi all This is very strange but the day I was going to phone Elliot Davies I got a phone call off Halifax Bank of Scotland to say that they would be paying the money back into my credit card account that day. It was the next day it arrived but I am over the moon to have it back. Thanks to everyone for the help. I don't know yet what made them suddenly pay (maybe they seen the thread!)

Hello again Just got off the phone and the action I am going to take is to use Elliott Davies High Court ENforcement Officers to try and recover the money owed to me. I will keep you all posted as to how things are proceeding. Thanks again Ashley & everyone for replying

HELP PLEASE This is my first post. I had been through all the steps with HBOS credit card and then put a cliam in through MCOL I won as they did not acknowledge. I contacted HBOS on many occasions and still did not get my money so I issued a Warrant. Today on my MCOL it say: "The Bailiff has been unable to recover the amount shown on the warrant. You are unable to take any further action online on this warrant. If you have a joint judgment against two defendants you can try to re-issue the warrant against the second defendant, this cannot be done by using Money Claim Online." Does this mean even though I won they do not have to pay? If it does it means I have lost even more money. I have got another claim for £3100 with Barclays and I am very worried that the same is going to happen with this and that I will get nothing back Has this happened to anybody else is there any way I can get the money I won even though the Balliffs cant?

I was just wondering if barclays has made anybody close there account after the claim has been settled? Just that my sis claimed against Alliance & leicester and they closed her account (gave her 30 days) Is Barclays doing the same:idea:

Is it still ok to get your credit card statements for this period (6 years) as I am applying to my credit card and not bank account and do not want them to try and intimidate me again. Also do I use the letter in the libary that you send for your bank statements? to the credit card company aswell. thanks

Hi there Thank you very much for that. I will send a letter off Recorded Delivery today. The account is still open and active but a couple of years ago I was always getting late payment charges (probably £1000) so if I could get that back it would be a big help. I will use the Trinity Road for my claim as I am one the english side and would like to get the most I can form Halifax Bank of Scotland. Cheers again

Hi Was it HBOS credit card that you applied to? I am looking for an address to request my 6 years statements for the Halifax Bank of Scotland Credit Card charges. I phoned that and they told me that I had to pay £360 for them. Seems very high!

I have just phoned Halifax Bank of Scotland and been informed that if I want my last 6 years statements they WILL charge me £360 I went on to explain about the date protection act and even got put through to the manager who said that under no circumstances would I get 6 years statements for under £360 I hate HBOS:!:
