No statements as yet, but both partner & I have received cute little booklets stating the terms & conditions of our accounts...which of course includes banks charges!!

First letters (for partner & myself) posted Recorded delivery on 11th Dec. 2006, my cheque for £10.00 was cashed today 18th Dec. My partners cheque hasn't been cashed as yet. So, we're both waiting to hear from the Halifax now!!

Hello to all, I'm a newbie & just about to send the 1st letters to the Halifax for both myself & my partner. It's good knowing that you're all here offering support & sharing your experiences, it does seem quite daunting taking on a big financial institution but many of you have done just that & won!!
