I hope so Nathal, but to be honest it just feels good to finally stand up against them. That's why this site is so important.

Just been offered £150 by Halifax - have advised them will accept only as aprtial payment and that I will go to court for the rest (another £1000 or so) charges which arose due to redundancy then being charged again as a result fo the bank's charges! Goes back about 10 years, but am really hopeful. Will update when I hear back from them. Don't let them put you off, don't take no for an answer, it's time we fought back........

Good luck with your cliam. This is also my first posting - have just beenoffered £150 by the Halifax, but have accepted it only as partial payment.
