Hi, I know that i am going to sound a bit thick but i am unsure what i should do next. I finally recieved a letter offering full and final payment from rbs. they offered 700 pounds, while my claim is for nearly 4000 pounds. so I refused it by telephone and letter. During the call the lady i spoke too said it did seem it was rather low considering the actual charges adn that she would speak to her supervisor. She then returned and offered to increase the ammount to 2300 pounds and they sent a letter out accordingly. Since then I have been ill and they have sent me someone elses statments. I got caught up in complaining about that and though i have responded to the offer of 2300 pounds I have heard nothing more from them nor have i taken the matter on to smaall claims. What should I do. I feel weak and weary just now. Besides this they have not responded with an offer on the second account. I am also wondering about the loans they got me to take out to clear my overdrafts. There are at least 2 of them, can i claim anything off those? sorry if i appear dumb. I feel it

Hi, I have completed all the first steps, as in I contacted the bank for 6 years worth of statements ad they finally sent me a full and final offer for 2700 pounds but My claim was for nearer 4000. So I sent them my letter before action. At the same time (though in different envelopes I sent them A request for charges from a second account and after reading something on the forums a third letter asking for all statments the held on any of my accounts as far back as they went. I have recieved no further comunication on the large claim and was about to file a small calim when i recieved a parcel. It contained 6 years worth of statements. But they are not mine!!!!:o I contacted the number on the final offer letter and was told they couldn't discuss my claim with me. I was asking about this poor blokes finacial info and where mine might be:-x They told me to phone my branch. I doubt the guy in question banks at my branch as he is in a different part of the country. This has really upset me. They don't seem bothered. (like thats a suprise) My branch was having computer problems (again) And I can't just go down to the local branch anyway as I am living abroad just now. Does this have any relavence to my claim even? I don't know:-(
