MCOL? When I fill that in, what do I have to send off?
-
What do you mean by issue?
-
Thanks Welshman. Just on the MCOL website now. No doubt I will as k more question
-
From my limited knowledge, I think this is ok (below). This is what was in my letter
Thank you for your letter dated 11/11/2006
I respectfully decline your offer of settlement and request, once again, that you return to me all charges imposed on this account, totalling £2785
I will accept the sum offered only as part settlement and on the clear understanding that I will pursue recovery of the remainder, with a County Court claim if necessary.
You have until 22/11/06 to respond before Court action commences. You are reminded that there will be no extension to this timescale.
I trust this clarifies my position.

it's ok i've found them
-
Thanks for the reply. I will contact my Trading Standards. One question....where are they haha. I've never needed them before
-
Yes I would, because that is what you told them in the LBA but there are differing opinions because the text in their letter to you mentions "full and final" offer and it would appear from that that they will not budge, regardless.
I gave them until the 22nd. I only discovered afterwards that it should've been the 22. So as far as they're concerned, they have til 22nd (today). Can I go ahead now?

28 days from when? I've had one letter back saying here's £1000 as a gesture of goodwill and the second one says....sorry we cannot offer you a full refund but if you still want the partial offer, please sign and return the form
-
I recoeved another letter back stating that was their final offer of 1000 and they are sorry we cannot come to an agreement. Do I still need to wait til the 29 for MCOL?
-
The problem is, I am still paying for payment protection that I didn't sign for
-
I should be in for a bit of money coming my way Thanks for the reply
-
Ok, long story short. I bought a car from there (don't ask why). Anyway, the person who sorted my finance forged my signature on the warranty I didn't want and on the payment protection. I went back to Carcraft when I noticed I was being charged for these. The person who done got sacked but I am still paying PPI on one finance (the other finance was cancelled as this was only covering the warranty). They said they'd do the work that needs doing on my car as a a goodwill gesture but so far, nothing. What should I do!?
-
Where can these be claim back from? I am in the process of reclaiming all my unpaids etc from my bank but can these also be claimed back for:
1. credit cards
2. finance companies
Thanks in advance

Thanks for helping me I had been looking at dates and must've got confused. No doubt I will need help in the next step! Roll on 22, I mean the 29/11/06 (court date)
-
I think I put 7 for the LBA one. Will this affect my claim?
-
I've written back accepting the partial payment. I've given them 7 days to reply other wise court proceeding will start. Is this correct?
-
I've written back accepting the partial payment but given them 7 days to get back otherwise see you in court. I'm not sure if I should've given them 14 days now though. Can anyone tell me?
-
Thanks Josamolly! I was going to turn it down. Thanks for the link!
-
Thanks Jimbo! Is there a standard letter or should I just write back accepting it as a partial settlement and ask for the balance?
-
Ok, I've send the letter for my statements. Got them back and sent another one asking for the money they owe me (£2785). Barclays sent a letter making me an offer withoutliability and all that caper for £1000.
I've read through some of the topics and forums but I am unsure what to do now. Help!

Ok I've submitted my claim but I'm now wondering if I have done it right. There's one thing...does my claim have any human rights issues. I have said no. Is this right.
