  1. Hi, I dont know if any one can help me but ive sent off all my letters to nationwide and there still adamant that there not going to pay out.... My next step is to take them to court, but I have also been charged again this month. Also can anyone tell me how you work out the interest rates? Do you put the full amount that you are owed and put in the date from the very first time you were charged?

  3. To be quite honest im not sure who the letters are coming from!! as I have said im doing this for my sister, we have just had her statements back from the data protection and then I sent a letter asking for a refund to her local branch who replyed by saying she wasnt entitled to her money back. Im just wondering whether I should have sent them somewhere els. I will have to get the letters off my sister and see where there sent from. Jenny:confused:
  4. Sorry, I meant a copy of the statements and letters asking for the refund! I have just sent them all to my local branch who are telling me that I am not entitled to a refund.

  6. Hi Kirsty, I am doing all this for my sister, ive already claimed mine back from alliance & leicester! The thing is my sisters seems to be more complicated, ive sent 2 letters now along with her statements (to the local branch) and they have just replied saying that she accepted the charges when she opened her bank account. Does any one know what we do now? Jenny (chanzuk)

  8. Hi, I am new to this site and have found it really interesting listening to everyones stories. I have already claimed my money back from A & L but am now trying to get my sisters and friends for them aswell, I first found out about it from my boss who also claimed his money back from Barclays!! Nationwide who my sister banks with seem to be a bit more stubborn than A & L but im sure they will give the charges back in the end. Good Luck to everyone!!
  9. Hi 3449 Which bank are you fighting? I do have a Template of the letter that I sent in to A & L, If you like I could fax it to you if you have a number? I used it to claim mine back, Im now in the process of getting my sisters back from Nationwide. ( same letter lol ) Its the same letter my boss used to get his charges back from Barclays, but it seems to work. chanzuk
