  1. Am just filling in N1 form what did you put for brief details of claim?
  2. Can anyone help? I am just preparing pre-lim letter but on the redemption statement the penalty is listed as Redemption Interest but on my mortgage transaction sheet the charge is showing as Early Repayment Charge. Is that the same for anyone else and do you think that means I can still pursue them?
  3. Despite 2 follow-up phonecalls to Egg and an e-mail they have not replied to the request although they have acknowledge the letter. 40 days are now long since up and I don't know what to do! I have no idea of what we would have paid them in charges so don't know what about to put in the pre-lim letter. What do I do?!!!!
  4. I've just been rechecking the charges that I calculated and have realised that in my Pre-lim and LBA I have listed to missed some charges off. I have received no written communication from NatWest at all but I know they have received all the letters as I've spoken to our Account Manager. Am just about to file MCOL and am wondering what I should do. Do I need to send a new list of charges to NatWest or do I just proceed with the new amount anyway and not bother?

I've received all my info from Amex and it goes back past the last 6 years. Does anyone know if I can claim back charges past the 6 years?

I've received all my info and am now trying to calculate the interest. I've downloaded the credit card spreadsheet but am unclear as to whether I'm just claiming 8% on fees charged or whether I'm claiming interest on the charges plus 8%. It all seems very complicated.
  10. Can anyone help? We redeemed our Mortgage in May O4. Looking on the Redemption Statement we have a redemption fee of £125, redemption interest and interest listed seperately. Can we pusue redemption interest? I take it that the redemption fee we can pursue in the small claims court?

DPA S.A.R sent 29/08/06. Spoke to them on 2.9/06, and we should apparently receive all info the middle of this week. Very efficient so far!

DPA S.A.R Sent 29/8.06 They have no record of letter but account that was closed 2 years ago is £10 in credit!
  13. I have got all of my earlier statements and although I have applied for a DPA SAR am just wondering whether as my claim is going to be quite substantial whether I can start the next process of the claim now for the first couple of years?
  14. Does anyone have any experience in reclaiming charges from any car finance companies?
  15. Sorry I'm being really thick but can we not even claim back return items fees for unpaid items or card misuse fees?
  16. According to our statements we had an Advantage Premier Account. Is that the same thing? What is the problem with Advantage Gold Accounts? For the last couple of years we have only had a current plus account so at least we can claim some money back.
  17. I have just been through our bank statements and worked out that we have paid over 6k in charges over the last 6 years. Would it be better to claim year by year to keep it in the small claims court? Help please!!!
  18. Has anyone had any joy reclaiming mortgage redemption penalties from Kensington Mortgages? I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has had any luck as we paid a £20k redemption fee to them 2 years ago and am wondering whether we can claim it back or not?
