  1. I have them in a big plastic box, full of them, I did check the envelopes they had no external stamps on, but the letters clearly state the dates. Oddly their is no sign of this account on Experian or Equifax, maybe it never really existed Thanks again for your help Silver. Pumpytums
  2. Sorry about the delay, as requested letter from DCA and default from MBNA. If you look at the letter from the DCA it is clearly dated 23rd September, letter from MBNA gives me until at least the 23rd or 24th of September. Basically MBNA sold it on before the default expired which sounds very dodgy. I have CCA'ed (no response) so account is in disspute, and SAR'ed no response to date they have approx 3 weeks to respond. No further calls or letters from DCA. Pumpytums
  3. I now have my statements going back over 17 years, you need to specifically ask for "Archive Notes" and "Product History" in your SAR the data does exist and it can be obtained. Now the fun of going through 300+ sheets. Pump tums
  4. Just as an update this week I have received my statements from when the account was terminated back to 1992, which was nice. The pre-2002 ish statements are on the A5 sized Natwest paper the post 2002-statements are on double sided A4. After the above help and a letter from Natwest I resent them my SAR specifically asking for Archive notes and Product history. This does work I have the statements I required. Thanks again for everyones help now the fun starts. Pumpytums
  5. Hi everyone, please see my Capital One thread for the background on my financial mess. My debt with GE (CC) was sold on to a DCA in August, but for some reason my credit file does not show a registered default and come to think about it I don't remember getting a default notice or termination notice. The last movement on my credit file for the account was over 4 months ago. I have CCA'ed the DCA and received what looks like a valid CCA I will post in a few days. The DCA has now given me 14 days to supply I & E details the cheeky BUGG*RS want copies of my payslips and bank statement's which of course they are not going to get. I have only approx £60 free for all my creditors and the GE one is probably the smallest probably 10% of the total. I have sent a SAR a few weeks ago and still had no response directly from GE. Should I just contact the DCA with my £6 offer and make them aware that the account contains illegal charges or wait to see if a DN and TN were actually issued? Pumpytums
  6. Just dug out my MBNA DN, found something very interesting the full amount had to be paid by the 24th of a month, the DCA they sold it to sent me a letter on the 23rd of a month. Is this in breach of their DN as the debt must have been sold before the DN had expired? Pumpytums
  7. I will have a dig in my mountain of paperwork. They did keep sending those 30% settlement texts etc. Made my life a absolute misery, the account has a huge amount of charges though maybe they will eventually respond to my SAR. On a side note old EG default very quickly less than 2 months. Pumpy
  8. Hi Silverfox, I just checked equifax, and the missing ge money one is there but no default showing which is odd. The account has 3 query's and no activity since June. No sign of the MBNA one, and no default shown on the GE one. How can a debt be sold if no default? Still odd with the MBNA one, experion and equifax are free, callcredit is how can I put it not so free. Thanks again Pumpy
  9. Hi everyone, I have a large debt with Mbna £10K+ thanks to their 30% interest. A few months ago I recieved a letter that the debt had been sold I have heard nothing else from the DCA of the buyer. The buyer never contacted me. I have CCA'ed and SAR'ed MBNA and to date received nothing to date. I just used the free experion credit check and my MBNA debt is not shown??? I really dont understand, I also have and GE Money account that is not shown, that has also been sold can anyone explain? I have other defaults that show up and even an old MBNA loan account but 2 CC accounts are missing. Pumpy
  10. Thanks for your help, I will send a utility copy and add the paragraph you suggested plus the signature mod. Covers all the bases that way. Pumpy
  11. Hi everyone, Last week I received a letter from C1 stating that the signature on my letter CCA/SAR does not match the one they have on record which is true I printed not signed the requests. C1 are now requesting copies of documents showing my current signature ie drivers license/passport, I'm sorry I will not send these documents. Do you think If I send a copy of a recent utility bill along with a scan of the card they will accept that? I've never heard of creditors going to these lengths before requesting a signature yes but not an official signed document!! Can anyone advise please? Thanks in advance Pumpy
  12. In answer to my own questions the following link may be useful to others http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/natwest-bank/221855-natwest-issue-please-help.html Information from another CAG member "It's in the NatWest Archive, he needs to send a SAR and he has to specify he wants the Archive notes plus "Product History" notes as at the time they changed over computer systems which was October 2002. I am about 99.9% certain it would have details of that. " Thanks Pumpytums
  13. Hi everyone, I have recently sent a SAR to Natwest with regards to get my statements back. They have written back stating that they only keep statements for 6 years before destroying them which to be frank is rubbish. Having read through ways of getting statements past the 6 year cutoff can anyone suggest ways of getting them? I know for a fact that I have hundreds of pounds of charges in 2000-2001. The info I have gleaned so far 1. Natwest changed its computer system in October 2002 can anyone confirm this? 2. RBS centrally keep the 6 years statements 3. By visiting your own branch people are able to get statement back to 1992 ReclaimUnfairCharges.com :: View topic - Statements beyond 6 years 4. Archive notes these appear to exist has anyone been successful in obtaining them? http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/natwest-bank/53877-natwest-data-protection-act.html I haven't tried (3) or (4) yet as I have paid my SAR once, has anyone here managed to get past the 6 year barrier? Thanks Pumpytums
  14. Hi everyone, I think I have found the answer to my own question looking on various threads I should be able to get data back to 1995. The statements I have only go back to 2003 as I downloaded them. So I will be sending Natwest a SAR. A quick question regard the postal order of £10 I need to send when I request one from the post office can I fill in the recipients name myself or does it have to be done in the post office? I have only ever used a postal order once and that was many years ago. Thanks again Pumpytums
  15. Hi Everyone, this is my first proper post to CAG, I must say you are all an inspiration to myself. I have an overdraft with Natwest of £5k+ I no longer use this account. I'm now starting to get repeated calls from Trident 5+ a day even after requesting writing communication only. I will shortly be sending them a letter to this effect. I will shortly be CCA, SAR my other creditors. Something I should have done months ago. Thanks all Pumpytums
