Having taken advice from many articles on this fantastic site I am now looking to fill out the particulars of claim for Abbey who owe me £2177 but I have 3 problems . 1.The amount already paid into my account (£860) has never been referred to as a goodwill payment. 2.What should I write on the Particulars of Claim as I dont want to fall flat on my face because of incorrect wording etc. 3. Fear I can see most cases never get to court but with 4 credit card companies to take on aswell I dont want any sleepless nights!!!

A big hello for the first time and hope the info here will help to recover charges from Abbey,Halifax,Capital One,Abbey Credit Card and Barclaycard. Battled with the above to refund charges now got all details and about to do spreadsheet but become even more confused by which rate to apply.8% seemed straight forward to add but after reading about 16% i am unsure which rate to use and it all now looks much more complex. Any suggestions PLEASE.
