  1. Is that six months from the start of the claim or six months from the last correspondence? Thanks S2art
  2. Hi Guys, many thanks, can you tell me how I start my own thread, can't find the magic button to press! Thanks S2art
  3. Hi all, Could I ask for some advice please: I have gone as far as actual court action, Halifax offered a partial refund without predjudice and then following this withdrew it and totally deny any acceptance of my claim. This was some months ago as I have been away can I continue to claim by court action? What is the best method, online or via my local court and finally who do I name on the claim is it a person or just Halifax bank PLC? Many thanks S2art

  5. Hi all, SAR sent and details received promptly Request for repayment of all charges sent - Offered £465 as a goodwill gesture and in full and final settlement and a threat of closing the account if I do not manage it properly! What should I do next? Do I need to open another account somewhere else in case the do clsoe my account? Stewart
  6. 2/11/06 Reply received from Halifax offering £465 as a gesture of goodwill.
  7. Hi All, After another £100+ charge from Halifax I have started reclaiming all charges for the last 6 years. So Far: Letter sent asking for Statements, these were received a couple of weeks later. Total charges to reclaim £1440. 1st letter sent asking for refund of Charges sent 17th October 2006. Acknowledgement received 20th October 2006 stating they have appointed a customer relations manager to investigate and will "reply shortly, but certainly no later than 4 weeks". Given that they have responded positively in asking someone to investigate do I allow them the time to respond or go ahead with the LBA which is now due as per my first letter? Stewart Update: 2/11/06 reply received from Halifax offering £465 as a gesture of goodwill.
  8. That's fantastic news, I am claiming against Halifax too. I sent the first letter together with the schedule and they wrote back asking for 4 weeks to sort it. Should I stick to the 14 days before I send the LBA or wait? Stewart
