  1. hi every-one i,m not sure if i'm in the right forum but i'm hoping some-one can help.i ordered the small claims kit on thursday for £9.99 it arrived today, only i've been sent the last will and testament pack instead.i've checked with pay-pal and i defo ordered the small claims pack,i've got the invoice.the problem is i dont know who i contact to return the wrong one.any suggestions?. i've re-ordered the small-claims pack this morning and hopefully i will get it the early part of next week.
  2. thanks sarah i'll write by hand putting each charge individually,i think that way i'll get use to it,then try with the spreadsheets.wish i had learnt about these things years ago now
  3. hi to eveyone i understand that i cant put the 8% on the prelim letter, but i've been told to list a scheldue of charges.would i just add the amount of charges i've incurred and demand that back,or do i have to write them all down like £30.00 on the 1/9/05 etc. i've just looked at the spreadsheets, and havent got a clue what i,m meant to do.so at the moment i'm going to take it one step at a time. i dont even know how to use a computer, hopefully by the time this is all over i'll be able to type and understand legal jargon a bit better:-)
  4. thanks welshman although i could read the instructions all day long they dont really seem to sink in,it's nice to know some-one is reading with interest(no pun intended).its a lot easier if some-one just says do this do that,
  5. just started myself, but have spoke on the phone to citi, and was told the same sort of thing.is it late payment charges?.
  6. hi to everyone i just want to say what a great site this is,every-one in the same position and all the support that is given is wonderful. i'm a complete thicko when it comes to computers,it's taken me all afternoon to work out how to start a thread(not sure that i have yet) anyway on the 12th august i plucked up the courage to send a sar to barclays.even reading the success stories,i still thought they would instantly shut our account down,a week later i got a letter saying they could'nt comply with my request blah, blah, blah, but would send copy statements within a week(exactly the same as many on this site)two days before the forty day deadline three packages arrived with six years worth off statements. i was shocked to find i have been charged £2410.00.which would,nt be so bad if it was actually over a six year period, but the majority seems to be around two years.i am so angry now that any doubts i had about this action have flown straight out the window. just for re-assurance it's the preliminary approach for repayment that i need to send next?.then wait for the re-fusal,then onto the letter before action?.i dont want to get too carried away at the moment,it seems a lot to take in. i would like to say good luck to everyone that are starting to take action against these day light robbers.
  7. i've just read your case and want to wish you good luck, although i dont think you are going to need it .it must be very frustrating and i hope when the time comes i will have the guts and resolve to hang in there like you.best wishes and well done
