BPF is just giving the standard answer that they are looking into alternative training providers... I have to write them a letter as my address has changed since the loan was paid off, they couldn't find my account number as the loan has now been archived.... but I will still be included in the offer of alternative training.

I paid via a the Advent advised loan with Barclaycard - the one with 0% finance for a year... I'm going to check all the paperwork when I get home tonight... My company's legal department are also going to look it over tomorrow.

My £5000 is also gone.. I paid it in Nov... but I've got nothing to lose...

I've emailed watchdog... BBC - Watchdog - - Got a story ...it may be a bit early still... but we have all been left in limbo! Sheesh, I wish I'd use the money to go on a holiday instead..!

Hi, I was from East Yorkshire when I was on this course... I've since moved down South to Hampshire... Does it matter where we are from in this situation?

Is there some way that we can do a group litigation action....? i.e. as there is so many of us afffected. Does anyone know anything about this? We are paying or paid money for services we are not getting... Can anyone advise?

Does anyone know if there is any protection for those that have already paid their loan off with Barclaycard but was still doing the course? I paid the Barclaycard loan off in November to prevent the high APR. I would still really like to do the course but there is no way I could pay the £5000+ for the course again!

I'm in the same boat... I am in the middle of my A+ course... gutted! I really hope we get compensated as I really can't afford to lose the money it cost me for the course.
