Hi Sarah Have you heard any more from the Abbey? I sent my lba and received an letter offering me a 1/4 of what I'm owed. I have threatened court action and received a letter from them telling me that they can do nothing more for me. Do you have any advice on next stage?

Hi there Thanks for your reply. I am new to the site and don't really know how to post a thread in the newbie section - can you give me details. I found it difficult enough to send this message and have no idea how I did it! Do you think I should type a letter to Abbey saying that I am now going to do a court claim? Is my next step to fill out the form in moneyclaim and send it to the bank. Thanks for your help.

Pursuing abbey for nearly £4k. Before I even received a reply from them I noticed they had credited £925 to my account. Sent lba letter saying I would take this as part payment but would pursue remainder. Received another letter from them saying it was "a gesture of goodwill" etc etc and they can do no more for me. Please advise next plan of action? This is a great site and thanks for helpful comments!
